500 Cubic Inches of highly durable, ballistic pack capacity. Reversible, dishwasher safe, pressurized hydration reservoir. Filter Ready. 70 Oz. The simple spray action of the Geigerrig hydration system enables the water to be sprayed for cooling, cleaning, and sharing. The spray action of Geigerrig also enables the use of a Geigerrig plug-n-play, in-line water filter for on-the-go filtration of water found along the trail. Simply refill from a river, stream, lake or pond; pressurize the reservoir; and then plug in the small, lightweight Geigerrig filter. Now you can safely drink the crisp, cold stream water. No longer do you have to worry about running out of water. Carry less water; use the water as you need for cooling, cleaning and sharing; and refill more often from water found along the trail. At the end of the day, simply turn the reservoir inside out to clean it and to dry it. Reservoir is dishwasher safe, top shelf. This is the durable, little RIG that attracted the eye of Spartan Race and lead Geigerrig to be the official manufacturer of Spartan Race’s premier obstacle course racing packs. 1680 ballistic nylon, the same fabric Dupont designed for military flak jackets. Internal sleeve to holster the reservoir. Removable internal guardian back frame for protection and a stable ride. 500 cubic inches of pack space to carry your keys, a small lunch, a change of socks, a t-shirt, and a few odds and ends such as your cell phone, wallet, etc. The pack is 18.5” long, 10” wide, and 2.5 lbs. The reservoir is 11.25” tall, 7” wide. The reservoir (or bladder) can be easily transferred from this pack to any other pack or hydration bag. Your Geigerrig pressurized hydration reservoir has a lifetime warranty for any leaks. Don’t forget to buy a Geigerrig filter.

I WILL ALWAYS LOVE THIS PACK - I have had my another one for years and wore it out. I finally purchased a new one : )
I have owned this exact model for years & have finally worn the heck out of it. I LOVE it SOOO much that I finally ordered the same one again & its SO Nic & New & Perfect! I Love How these packs fit!!! They are lightweight & small enough for running & hiking as a daypack/waterpack. This is also a perfect festival pack as well. It's a perfect substitute for a purse when I'm on the go. If I don't need as much water I take out the bag & hose & just put a smaller water bottle in there. I also love that these New packs are ready for the WATER FILTER which I keep in my survival kit & I'll take that backpacking with me. I love the pressure & "Never suck again concepte" - When I'm backpacking I'll use the hose to spray my hands or dishes off a bit. I LOVE THIS PACK & ALWAYS WILL!!!

Solid Pack, but has some flaws
The Geigerrig is a solid pack. There's no worry of the bladder bursting. The nylon fabric is great, you'll have no concerns about the pack ripping. The pressurized system is innovative and works pretty well. I'm a big guy, and this pack fits me fine.I did have a few issues, some are design flaws, and others are preferences. I used this pack on the Vermont Spartan Beast in 2016 (16 miles) last year and this is what I found:1.)The hose from the bulb would pop out occasionally while doing the obstacles. I checked online and this is apparently quite common. The good thing is that the bulb is velcroed to the vest, so there was no real concern of losing it2.)Dispensing the water worked fine, however if you hold the hose too high, the water doesn't come out. You need to hold it at the same level (or lower) as your chest otherwise, the water doesn't come out (or doesn't come out strong.) Before I had realized this, I had to start doing a check of "is the pack pressurized? Is it pressurized enough? Is the spout turned on or off? "Am I not squeezing the end hard enough? Am I squeezing it in the right place?"3.)I found that the two zippers in the back seem to creep open during the obstacles. I didn't lose anything but I easily could have.4.)There are no front pockets, so there was no quick access to anything. If I wanted anything from the pack, I would have to take it off, then put it back on.Overall, I'd say it's a great pack with good storage space for gear but still needs adjustments to the design

Perfect!!
I just used this hydration pack for a 15 mile Spartan Beast race and it was perfect!! It is slightly heavier and bulkier than other packs but well worth it. The fact that it is pressurized really did help me. It was very comfortable to run wit. The only issue I had was it was a little loose on me. I had it tightened as far as it would go but it still bounced a little bit. But all in all I'm very happy with it.

GeirgerRig 500 citron
Believing that a pressurized method for a water source would be logical. And anyone that owns a hydration bag knows that sucking can be a pain. I tried this unit out. The backpack it comes in is nicely done, with ventilation on the back, and quality material used throughout. You can fill this thing with water/ice/drink, it has a big opening at the top, then you seal it and by using a pump, add air to a bladder next to the hydration bladder and it puts pressure to push the water thru the hose. It works just as advertised. I liked it, and there are many times you can use a hard stream of water, either for the dog, or to wash your legs off. Kinda cool. The size of the bladder is 2L. It isn't big enough, and I have run out of water before finishing my ride or hike. So I would make sure to get the 3L. I tried to purchase just a 3L bladder from the companyand not the hoses and pump, but they didn't offer it, and a new bladder is 50 bucks. Ouch.Hope that helps.

Great hydration pack for lite hikes and trail runs.
This pack is fantastic. Great size. I needed something smaller than my CamelBak for short hikes and trail runs. This fits the bill perfectly. Mine didn't come with a hook to secure the bladder inside the pack. Emailed them and a few days later they responded and asked for my address. Waiting for the "hook". Took it out on a training trial run. 5 miles with stops for burpees, chin ups, pushups, ladder climbs and wall jumps. It worked great without a lot of movement. Recommended.

This is brilliant. The idea of the pressurized water is great ...
This is brilliant. The idea of the pressurized water is great compared to many of the "pull" type hydration packs. Typically excursions involve family and friends (and a dog) and the geigerrig allows me to share and keep things sanitary. I haven't used the pack enough to speak to it's durability, but I plan to bring it on some of my longer Spartan races after reading other online reviews saying it has been durable enough for mud runs/obstacle races.

This is amazing no complaints at all - works great
This is amazing no complaints at all - works great. I find that I can get the most water if I had my head looking down when I'm drinking. If I have my head straight ahead or looking up the flow is greatly reduced. The backpack is built very well. I use this for rollerblading I've had a few spills on my back and it's held up great. Love how easy it is to clean.

Works well.
I bought this to use for arterial bleeds in active shooter simulations. It works well but had to buy an adapter to be able to stop the flow in between scenarios.
