I purchased this sun shade for my potted tomato plant. It’s very protective while letting just the right amount of sun through. My plant loves it!

The cloth seems ok though it is semi-translucent, so I wonder how accurate the 50% light blocking is?The rivets come right out if the cloth is stretched, so the edging material does not seem long-term durable for a full-time shade like mine.These were the right 5’ width size I needed, but were not the durability I wanted.

Used the 50% cover on newer hydrangea that were literally laying on the ground after an hour of sun. Now I let the rain water and haven’t supplemented at all in a month. Ct weather can be tough but these really worked to help them develop deeper roots without over watering them.

We live in Arizona...gets very hot, direct sunlight...Plants need sun, but not sun burn....Our plants have responded very positively after using this mesh shade cloth..would by more if needed!

Works well for getting plants acclimatize to the sun .

I put this on top of my greenhouse to shade the plants from the sun and heat wave. We took it down due to much cooler temps and found that it had just about caused a fire! Won’t be putting it back up. Should have been aware that black attracts heat.
