Q: Do these filters fit the Müeller French Press?

i am not sure what size you mueller french press is . but if the screen on the bottom is 4" with a hole in the middle, to hold it to the bottom of the top/ part that pushes down., then yes. no sure if that makes sense, but if you know wheere the screen is, than messure it, 4" then yes. the opening of the jug part is about 4' too

Just measure the filter you have now. these are 4 in. They are the ones I bought and I love them. They fit the french press I have and it looks like the one you have..

Q: How often does the filter need to be changed?

Depends how often you use it and how neglectful you are in cleaning them. To me, this is when I change them. 1) The filter remains brown after scrubbing 2) The sides become loosened and the steel pokes your finger. 3) there's still coffee grain stuck within the filter. 4) You didn't clean your French Press and now there's mold growing on your filter. Thankfully to this day. I'm still using my first pair of filters. Hope this helps.👍🏼
