Has worked great for me!
I've had my "swing," as I call it, for nearly a year now, and use it just about every night. I've had a few issues but have resolved them either by myself or with the help of Terry at SolerShaker's customer service.TIP 1: Take the case off your phone. The swing works best with a light load, I've found. For instance, it works better with my old Samsung Galaxy S7 than my mom's newer, bigger, and heavier A51. That's not to say it doesn't work with the A51, it does, but the swing needs more power to propel the heavier phone, meaning fresh batteries or a new cord. If the swing doesn't want to work with your phone or makes a ticking/clicking sound as it passes over the magnet, lighten the load and give it more power. (Never use batteries and cord simultaneously, though!)TIP 2: If you set the swing on a soft, flat surface, like carpet or a rug, or perhaps a towel on a table or countertop, it'll hold steady while it swings. I've never been able to put it on a hard surface, it scoots around and wobbles as if the base isn't heavy enough to hold it still under the phone's weight, but it works perfectly on the carpeted floor next to my bed.Another issue I've experienced is the original white cord got worn out and faulty. I never kinked it or folded it or anything, yet the wire casing tore and exposed the wires. It stopped working as efficiently and eventually got very, very hot when plugged in and smelled like it was burning. STOP use if you experience that as well! I switched to using batteries, but it needs 4 AAs and lasts about 3 weeks; I can't afford to go through that many batteries that quickly. I contacted the seller and asked if it was possible to get just a new cord, and an agent named Terry responded in under an hour--in the middle of the night, no less. He sent me not one new cord, but TWO, as well as a new base, I assume in case the new cords weren't compatible with the base I had, since the new cords were slightly different than the original. But the best part--he didn't charge me a cent, not for the items, not for shipping. He also followed up and made sure the cords had worked without any issues. It's not a perfect or even high-quality product, but customer service like that makes up for it!!!If I had one recommendation for SolerShaker, it would be to make the arms attached to the base, or at least the rubber bits, glow in the dark. I tend to turn out the lights and read on my phone until I'm drowsy, but when you're going from looking into the light of your phone to the pitch black next to the bed (I don't have a nightstand or lamp), it's hard to see where the black swing is, even after your eyes adjust.

Didn't Work at All! Missing component? (Update: Works as intended & exceptional customer service!)
(Original Review): After removing the product from the amazon package, I discovered that the box appeared to have been opened previously. It was strange, but I proceeded to test out the product. It doesn't work at all... I fiddled with it for a couple hours, testing all sorts of arrangements and outlets in order to see if I can get it to work. After a couple seconds into each swing, it begins to lose momentum and comes to a complete halt after a minute. After viewing all the videos others have posted here (including the promo video), I believe that the swing I received is missing a component (perhaps a magnet) on the bottom. In any case, I'm really disappointed and will definitely be returning it.**Update**: Let me start off by praising the seller's outstanding customer service. After my original review, the seller immediately reached out to me to address my concerns. Not only did the seller issue me a full refund as an act of good faith, but he also sent me another unit (as well as an additional battery for the one that was missing from my first order). I have yet to encounter another Amazon seller that has went this above and beyond in terms of customer service. As for the unit itself, the swing works really well. The swing is well built and easy to assemble. I found out it works best if the phone is upside down and locked (to save energy). I'd also recommend to have the phone swing in shorter arcs rather than wider arcs, thus clocking in more steps for a given period of time. After some measurements, I found out it takes approximately between 12-13 minutes for a distance of 1km. So a 5k egg takes approximately a little over an hour to hatch. One thing to note is that the swing does emit a small sound when it is motion. I would equate it to what you would hear from an analog clock. It is barely noticeable and inaudible at a distance or with some other ambient sound in the background. All in all if you are looking for a phone swing, I highly recommend buying this one, not only because of how well it works, but also for how serious the seller takes customer support/buyer feedback.

I bought one for me and two for presents
5 STARS- Bought for myself and loved it so much I gifted it to two people. Works really well. I take the case off and put it upside down. Make sure the app is closed out and adventure sync is on. Mine seems to be more quite then my boyfriends but it might be that my phone is heavier. His is still pretty quite. I saw some reviews complaing that the band snaps... if that happens use a heavy duty rubber band or one of those rubber bracelets they sell like the livestrongs yellow ones. You'll be fine and it also seems pretty durable. I absolutely love mine. Also I absolutely LOVE that I can use it with batteries and put it anywhere without having to deal with a wire. LOVE!

Great for two weeks...
Here's the deal... This product asks for 4 Double A batteries plus to be plugged into an outlet... This thing ran great for two weeks or so, then wouldn't work anymore... It would swing for about 30 seconds and then give out, and that was after I put 4 new energizer batteries in it... 🤷♂️ I hate to be that guy, but some of us get lemons...

Works better with a hairtie
Works better with a hairtie instead of the rubberband included. It's looser and jostles the phone more which it tracks as steps. With the included rubberband, it 50/50 whether it counts the steps or not.

Works Perfectly
Works perfectly for me. I have had this for about a year and a half and have never had to charge it or change the batteries since I first received it. I use it at least weekly for long periods of time and have had zero issues. The band is now starting to tear with use and age but in the dry hot desert climate where I live rubber does that with or without use. I can Easily replace it with another rubber band or a hair tie.
