Toe nail fungus killer!! 2nd time buying/see below AND a CAUTION..
Edit 3/2025… Listen up 1st: YOU MUST DILUTE essential oils with a carrier oil OR..you very well could get a chemical skin burn from what is considered to be a "hot" oil.. Oregano oil is a VERY powerful essential oil and is considered a "hot" oil at room temperature.. compounds in oregano just act that way to give the sensation of heat.** Since you can't know just how strong your bottle of Oregano oil is..from batch to batch..PLEASE: Start w/ a weak solution i.e. 1 part Oregano Oil to 9-10 parts carrier oil. Patch test that concoction on a 1 nail only or a tiny bit of skin. Do NOT go whole hog until you experience it.. it takes "maybe" 1-2 hours or less for you to feel the heat of this oil. If it's bothersome to you or burns...wash it off!Be safe! **You can always add more oregano oil IF there aren't any allergic or adverse reactions. Be careful with your skin or nails.IMO this latest oil of Oregano I bought, same company, 4 yrs apart, is A LOT STRONGER than the original 1 I bought. Maybe Higher potency of the compound, or the method of how it's made, it's attributes etc. who knows..ANSWER: Start w/ weak dilution, patch test, then IF well tolerated, increase the amount of Oregano oil/ratios to carrier oil.. gradually!! I diluted my last batch/bottle by adding a carrier oil such as Almond oil.. try different %s of Oregano mixed w/carrier oil, like 10% oregano to 90% topical carrier oil to start, IMO.. Mix in a colored glass, glass dropper bottle. You’ll have to look for recipes. Let your skins reaction to your concoction/recipe tell you IF you need to adjust the ratios. Here below, is the success story you wanted, all true!!Bought this again, 4 yrs later, it IS that GREAT @ killing toe nail fungus. Long story short, 4 yrs ago I ran into toenail fungus on 1 half of a toe nail. Researched it for hours to come up with Oregano oil for antifungal nails & bought UpNature Oil of Oregano oil & empty nail polish bottles (Amazon) to kill it off. Last time took 4 months of straight oil application (at 1st daily, then a couple times a week for 4 months) it was fully GONE. My nails grow very fast. ** this 1st bottle was probably NOT steam distilled/higher potency because that batch, I could use straight... 2nd bottle/ 4 yrs later, was SUPER strong..so I diluted it. 25-50% Oregano oil to 50-75% carrier oil was well tolerated to me/might be too strong for you!!.. How your bottle/batch strength is, I cannot know and how your nails tolerate it to you, I cannot know...SO START WITH WEAK OREGANO OIL STRENGTH AND WORK YOUR WAY UP....GRADUALLY TO AVOID A CHEMICAL SKIN BURN!! II'll just "SUGGEST" a starting point of 1:4 ratio (Oregano Oil: Carrier oil(almond). Do NOT exceed a 50/50 ratio until you know how your situation is affected and how you tolerate it. These companies will not tell you anything about this need for dilution, possible chemical burns IF you use straight up. All of this is just my trial and error true anecdotes for your benefit.Anyway, must have come across it again.. (I live in hot & humid tropics..my old larger bottle must have tapered off in the active compound’s strength of the oil of oregano) Now I bought a new bottle, same company. Excellent packaging to prevent breakage too. Started brushing on the straight oil, you can feel it soaking into the toenails, (carefully ONLY apply to the nail, not skin) you can also feel the heat of this oil (I used it straight (1st bottle), but you can dilute it in a carrier oil) Just in 2-3 days of daily application & it’s already killing off the nail fungus/nail turning kinda powdery on top. I Scraped top layer off, w/a metal nail tool/please disinfect your nail tools between use on each nail. Keep reapplying daily. I’ll be back to perfect nails in no time!PLUS.. last time around, this same oil of oregano killed off my friend’s toenail fungus she had for 10 yrs,!! I gifted her a bottle of it. Took her a full year to get rid of hers. Her toe nails went through colors of black & red as fungus was dying!! True story!!Last time mine was mild & only took 4 months to fully get rid of it.OF COURSE I CAME BACK TO THE EXACT SAME OIL OF OREGANO COMPANY/UpNature, for some brand new oil!!! It worked 4 yrs ago (July 2020) & new bottle of it working this time too!! (be CAREFUL and see my 1st warnings on strength, dilution and patch testing 1st!!!) You’ll be a believer too, it WORKS to irradicate toe nail fungus!! I had researched it for hours before I decided to try Oregano oil for my toe nail fungus cure.10/5/24 Update: 2nd time, completely gone now. I learned that relentlessly applying to kill it off (turns opaque & kinda powder like) then you scrape that off (it wasn’t bad or a full nail) rinse off in the shower, disinfect that area & your shower, just in case.. I’m now back to ZERO toe nail fungus!! I treated all the nails just in case so IF it has jumped, it’s dead there too. In my experience the nail heat sensation meant it was living fungus…when no more heat, just the pizza/herby smell alone, meant fungus was killed off. I’ve gone days now, no oil on, still no change from free & clear nails. I’ll never be w/out Oil of Oregano in my house. I’ll do 1 application/month as prevention going forward! That & more of a breather between nail polish painting. Telling you, this IS the answer.

Read review if you are a soaper- Works great.
I bought it as a fragrance oil for my cold process soap. After reading reviews, I was able to ensure that it could be used. Did my research on the usage rates per pound of oil and it behaved very well during the soaping process. My brother wanted some cedar scented soap. Eh...well it does smell like cedar for sure. He was hoping for a stronger scent. I'm not blaming the oil. I probably could have made it stronger, but since I wasn't sure how well it behaved, I didn't want to waste 30 ounces of oil.For the soapers out there, I soap in the high 80's to low 90's, and it did not color morph. The color I intended turned out well. The goal was a cedar color. No seepage, some scents make the oil heat, this did not do that. (aka volcano) There was no acceleration or ricing. I DID NOT use any milks such as goat or coconut. Just 5 oils with a lye water solution. Mixed to a medium trace. I also anchored the scent with some kaolin clay.Initially, my brother said the scent was weak (this was only a week after it started the curing process) After about 6 weeks, he thought the scent was better and stronger. No I didn't give him any soap until the 6 weeks. Just a sniff because he requested it.I've read other reviews saying it's good for toe fungus. I'm excited to see that. If it works for that, I'll return with an update. The price is great for 4 ounces. I'm super pleased with the purchase.

Perfect bang for your buck
I am a huge fan of using this essential oil and am especially happy with the fact that it came in a bigger bottle considering I use it for just about everything. It’s saved me and my baby from a lot of ouchies that didn’t have to resolved by our usual generic medicine.
