I'm a real person, and NO this isn't a fake review! I have tried EVERYTHING when my 6 year old male cat decided not to use his litter box anymore. Frustrated, I put plastic runners all across the carpet so he would pee on that and not ruin the carpet anymore, but the smell remained. Here's a list of things I used to try to clean the urine smell:*Odoban-Citrus & Lavender*Rug Doctor for pets*Woolite for pets*Steam cleaner with all the above products listed in it*Vinegar and water*Nature's Miracle for Cats-recommended by my vet*Dr. Elsey's Urine removal program*Oxyclean and everything else you could probably think of.. The smell remained. I saw this at Petco and was quite skeptical, but thought the worst that could happen is that it wouldn't work and I would return the unopened bottle. I bought two of the 32 oz bottles and eagerly brought them home to try them out. I used one whole bottle on a small spot by the door, and the smell was gone. I couldn't believe it! Some people say it has a strong odor, but I didn't think it was bad at all. I used the second bottle on another spot in the room where the boxes are. I decided to go ahead and finish the job with the same old products, no such luck! I will be placing doggy pee pads down around the boxes until this arrives and I can't wait to use it again. Seriously!! Nothing else works!I also bought the black light and it was interesting to see the spots on the carpet of our home where the prior family had pets. I believe this may be another cause of what is setting off my male cat some of our bedrooms downstairs. Ultimately, we plan to replace all the carpeting in our home, but until then... I'll be taking up stock in this product! Fantastic!!!

We foster cats and kittens and they don't always come with perfect bathroom habits. Stink-Free is a staple in our house - I've used it on carpeting, bedding, towels, rugs, you name it, and it works on everything. The trick is of course to saturate the area (use more than you think you need to) and just leave it to dry. After a few days the cat pee smell is completely gone, and does not come back.

We added my daughters cat to our 2 cat home. They all started spraying!We tried everything! We purchased the black light and soaked all areas. The smell was gone.We also added Feliway diff usurpers.My only gripe.... One of the gallons I do purchased had a wonderful smell! It was soft and pleasant.The other gallon smelled off....very artificial!

I simply love this stuff. Stink free is by far my favorite brand. Some stinks just keep coming back to haunt and there isn't much you can do about it, but if you use this stuff as soon as possible after your pet pees or poops it will remove the odor. I do have a spot that an unaltered male cat urinated in that I couldn't get to right away with this stuff and the smell comes back, not as strong I just keep applying stink free one day the smell just won't come back.Fragrance isn't over powering.

What I like the most about Stink Free is that I have tried MANY products over the years, and this is the ONLY one I have found to actually deal with the stench of cat urine. What I like least is the price. I guess you get what you pay for. But I can't imagine the cost of production is nearly what they are getting out of it. What I like 2nd least about it is the availability. I used to be able to find it readily in any local pet store chain. Now I can only find it online, while many chains, not only pet stores, but hardware stores and stores like WalMart all carry Nature's Miracle, which is NO miracle at all since it seems to barely even cut the smell.Price gouging aside, Stink Free is THE product if you have a cat urine problem (which means it probably is a no brainer for any other species urine, fecal, vomit, or other biological odors). Since these products are not cheap, I would suggest you don't even waste your money hoping to get by with something cheaper if it is a strong cat smell you are wrestling with because you are just going to have to spend it over again. Just start here. I have used it many times on different carpets, and never had an issue with discoloration.

This is probably one of the best products I've found to deal with cat urine smell & stains & I have tried almost all oof them on the market. None remove things 100%. I may not be able to smell it, but I know the cats still can.

I've been using this product for years now and it is fantastic. I spent so much money on products that said they worked but the odor always came back. Not with Stink Free it doesn't. I use the one for cats because cat urine and spray is the hardest odor to get out of carpet, so if it works on cat smells it will work on my Bulldog stink and oops from time to time and it does. I run an animal rescue which has many senior cats. In my home I have 4 senior cats that occasionally have urine accidents for various health reasons. In the last 20 years this is the only product I found that completely takes our the urine smell which means the cat or cats don't go back to the treated area since smell is gone. Follow the direction and it will work for everyone. After using other very well known products for years one of our cats urinated on our new expensive king size bed and all the other products previously used couldn't completely remove odor.
