If you need to remove and tighten the drain nut, this is your tool. It works as designed.

This wrench was made for a 3 !/2 in nut on sinks. It is long enough so that even on stubborn nuts, you have very good leverage. I also found this tool useful for taking off the locking ring of a garbage disposal and putting it back on tight.

Does the job. Seems a bit expensive for a piece of metal, so took off a star. But tightens and loosens the nut on sink strainer just fine. I kind of think the other sink strainer design is better, however, the design without the large diameter nut, but instead with the three tightening points. But for the sink strainer with the large diameter nut, this tool does the job.

Got the job done,but could feel a little slip in the grip.Overall it did a great job!

Another reviewer was right. Not a big help on corroded stuck strainer lock nuts but it works great for tightening new ones. Usually end up cutting the stuck nuts with an oscillating tool.

I finally put this to use today, the guys that installed my new sink didn’t tighten the strainer tight enough so I had to take it apart, clean and reinstall it myself with the help of my wife, we knocked it out and now there’s no leak! Love this tool, channel locks weren’t wide enough. Great buy!

So far this wrench fits and functions perfectly with my sink basket fixture. Previously I was turning the parts by hand with plastic gloves for solid grip, which helps but not nearly as easy as this tool makes the job. Seems every job needs special tools, which is frustrating, but I am glad this is now in my toolbox. I can not comment on durability yet, if it fails to meet expectations I will update this review. Shipping was a little slow though. Price is right.
