MAJOR SPOILERS!!!!
Okay, well this was a decent book. I felt that yes, he did put too much stock in what Helena told him. He felt guilty for not wanting to marry her and he thought she had held onto "them" for this long and he was throwing her over for Ellie. He also was taught that Helena was the ideal woman who apparently never lies and is not manipulative, but all through the book, the hero stated how the heroine was honest to a fault and he still did not believe her. I find it hard to believe that he never liked Helena because he did trust her word over his wife's word. I do think that after that last argument where Ellie gave him that ultimatum, he would have dropped Helena if Ellie had not left before he could. I TOTALLY understand why she did though and it made me sad when he compared the two of them in a way to gain retribution against Ellie for her forcing him to choose. It was not the choice he resented but her telling him what to do when he sees himself as a proud man. He did grovel VERY well and made me tear up at the end but I do think after ALL the heartache she went through to be with him, he should have had to beg a bit more. That woman ruined her wedding day and made the start of her marriage a chaotic event and put strain on their marriage because of her lies and she did not even love the hero but wanted him for prestige!! I do love how feisty she is and she made me laugh so much in the beginning because she kept taking the hero by surprise with her bluntness. I also adored how even though he was practically crying and begging her on his knees to listen to him and stay, she kept packing her belongings like she was going to leave when we all know she did not want too. It took guts to do that when you have a strong manly man in tears begging you to stay with him. I loved this book and am so glad I read it.

wonderfully written fairy tale
This book was a wonderfully written fairy tale. I love how sassy and independent Ellie was but at the same time her innocents shined though. Dio could be so caring, and gentle, but at the same instance tear Ellie down with his words. He didn't let anyone talk about Helena, and wouldn't believe Ellie when she told him the mean and hateful things Helena had said to Ellie. I would have hated to have Helena as an enemy. I felt so frustrated that Ellie felt defeated when it came to Helena. I wished she could have told her off just once in the book...Over all I loved this book. The couple went through a lot of emotional turmoil, and I was glad the two talked it out, and ended up happy. The chemistry between the two was red hot! I love reading romance books with Greek men; they can be so caring, gentle, obnoxious, and commanding all at the same time. Dio was 100% the alpha male in this story. If you want to spend a few hours reading a really good fairy tale, read this one. It won't disappoint.Sample from chapter 4"You really are gorgeous," she told him helplessly. Dio brought her down on something firm and deliciously comfortable and leant over her. He stared down into her dazed eyes, his own flaming gold, and groaned, "I thought you were the most perfect thing I ever saw in my life when I took that scarf off. Your hair, your skin, your eyes. You stunned me-"

One of my favorite
Wow, what a roller coaster that book gave me.That started with quite an unbelievable mistake... but the development is great.I enjoy both main characters. H and h are great, together they have good chemistry. And at last the H is in love with the h but keep doing wrong things and is a bit thick but he chases beautifully after the h.The h is awesome, she has great reparti, she is smart, independent and doesn't cater to every whims of the H because she is sticky in love with him. She is in love and that was beautifully done, with the H, but I love the way she leaves to protect herself of more damage. Great great great read. It's definitively one of my favorite.More like this one would be great in the present!

A Heroine with a Backbone of Steel.
Giving it a 3.5 stars. As usual, the tension was gripping. I could almost feel Ellie’s pain and frustration, so much so, that I’m not satisfied on how Sally’s delivery of Dio’s imbibing when he found out the truth was not enough. Yeah, I felt that it would have been better if it was on Dio’s point of view, rather than a secondary character who’s barely connected to their story. I love Ellie’s character, though. She’s feisty and I loved it that she stood up for herself. 3.5 because of the not very satisfying resolution. It was good read nonetheless.

Best Grovel Scene Ever!!!
I read a lot of books, over 400 this past year. This one had the absolute best groveling scene I have ever read. He had mistrusted the heroine and treated her terribly and she deserved the major grovel fest that he presented her. It was great, one of the very best.Safety: For those of you who like safely info...this is a safe book and neither one was with anyone else during the whole book. There is what I would loosely call the ‘other woman’ who brought about a new level of evil and unfortunately, our hero believed her continuously over his new bride. It was almost the death of their marriage and was quite frustrating that he thought so highly of the OW. Men can really be dense when it comes to conniving women and he certainly was.Ellie Morgan and Dio Alexiakis are the main characters. Ellie Morgan dreams of buying the bookshop where she works, so her evenings were spent moonlighting as a cleaner at Alexiakis International in hopes of saving enough money for a down payment on the bookstore. It was working out beautifully until she accidentally overheard Dio Alexiakis discussing a top-secret deal. Dio saw her and was certain she was an industrial spy and basically held her captive, not letting her out of his sight. He was afraid she would somehow pass along the information to which he was certain she would be paid handsomely for. He accused her of so many things I won’t take the time to list them but let me tell if a man had done that to me he would've been missing a manly part of his anatomy. He was pretty bad...you know those alpha types and they are never wrong in their own opinion. It turned out to be a great book that I highly recommend!
