If you use the tape it can stay on for about 2-3 days with showering. I applied it every 3 days when I first started and the bottle lasted about a month. You don't have to put a lot on. It did a really good job of flattening the surgical scar and making it lighter. I only used it for 3 months and was satisfied with the results. It will not make the scar disappear, but the longer you use it the better the results.
