Absolutely epic
I've been a huge Intel guy for years, but the performance on this Ryzen laptop is changing my mind. Admittedly, this gaming laptop doesn't see much gaming - it's my work remote laptop. It's SIGNIFICANTLY more responsive than the Dell i5 I bought last year and has much more upgradability. Thank you eLuktronics!

Great laptop!
This was a fantastic purchase! Runs great and worked perfectly right out of the box. Played Doom 2016 at 1440p everything maxed at 80-90fps. Drop shadows from nightmare to High and I got 120fps! Would but again in a second!

DON'T BUY!!!
This is the works $1,700 I have ever spent!I have had nothing but problems since the day I got it, unfortunately I left the country right after I bought it and it has given me problems since day 1.So far the problems I've had with the laptop.1. Screen flickering, after an hour the screen will start flickering quite frequently like every 10-30 minutes.2. Randomly powers off, If I am sitting at my desk and happen to lift the laptop at an angel it will 50% of the time power off for no reason, then I have to fiscally pick the piece of crap up and shake it to turn it back on because otherwise it will not power on.3. Monitor Freezing, now I started having the monitor completely crap out just like in the photo I shared where the whole screen turned purple. This is literally the most expensive but yet the worst laptop I have ever purchased in my life, even video editing which is what I originally purchased it for is no better than my last cheap laptop.Do not buy this overhyped garbage!

Really nice bang for the buck so far
I bought this machine to serve as my VFX workstation when on the road, instead of lugging my threadripper with me. While I've only had it a little while I wanted to post up my initial thoughts and some info that was harder to find regarding ram.The fit and finish is surprisingly nice. I'm still getting used to the off-center keyboard and trackpad, but having a num pad is huge for my work. It's also nice that it's got two m2 slots, as I can have a project drive and my boot drive separate. The processing power of this machine so far is great. I've benched it in Blender, and it's nothing to sneeze at. It also doesn't burn the tops of your legs if you're using it on the couch. One thing I couldn't find any info on was what ram works at full speed with this. I'd found some info on the XMG and other clones, but even then, it wasn't concrete. I installed 64GB of Crucial Ballistix 3200, and on boot its reporting back at 2667mhz and BIOS doesn't appear to have XMP settings. Not ideal, but the premium for 1.2v 3200 wasn't worth it, I need more ram vs faster ram. FWIW, the ram that came installed is also Crucial brand @ 1.2v, model CT8G4SFS832A CL22.Other hardware notes, I've installed a Samsung 970 EVO Plus in the second m2 slot
