UPPAbaby Travel Bag for RumbleSeat and Bassinet with TravelSafe Protection

I ordered this bag for my Uppababy Mesa car seat along with the stroller bag for my Uppababy Cruz and they both worked out perfect on my last trip! This bag fits the car seat perfectly. You literally just put the car seat in the bag (without the base) and zip it up. The bag has cushions all around it and seems to be made with quality materials. It also has straps so someone can carry it like a back pack when your walking around in the airport! The bag held up for my round trip flight with no damage and it protected my car seat! Another bonus of this bag is is you purchase the bag and register it online before your flight and your car seat gets damaged Uppababy will send you another one for free! I'm very pleased with my purchase!!

We bought this right before our first air travel with baby. It held up great and protected the Mesa from damage. Hoping to save up for the Vista travel bag before our next trip. Is it worth the money? Probably yes for peace of mind, especially if you travel often, but it should be more affordable given the product’s purpose. It’s literally just a bag, albeit a well-made one.

This bag is great! It keeps the stroller in pristine condition and we use it as a storage bag for when the stroller is not being used as well. It allows us to hang it in the garage so it isn’t taking up a ton of space. It has gone on several plane rides and not a single tear! It’s a bit on the pricey side and once I unfolded it I couldn’t figure out how to fold it back up again. I couldn’t even find a YouTube video on how to do it! So we just kind of roll it up and stuff it in the bottom of the stroller when we are at the airport.

I traveled on the plane with my 7 month old and this bag was super useful. I gate-checked the stroller and took the car seat on board where the baby slept most of the flight in both directions but wanted a way to bring the rumble seat as well. Most airlines allow you to check 2 baby items for free, so this was my second item in addition to the gate-checked stroller. The biggest benefit was being able to stuff many other baby items inside this bag which took away additional weight and space from my main suitcase. I fit things like a baby monitor, a large changing pad, bib/spoons, bottle washing kit and even a couple pairs of my shoes! I also purchased an Open Box bag which was in basically new condition and I was able to still register for the warranty.

As to be expected, everything from Uppababy is high quality. Everything is also expensive, also to be expected..... I was able to fit several extra items inside the car seat when I checked it at the airport, which was convenient. Side note- Uppababy’s customer service is amazing!!! I bought the matching stroller case from buybuybaby, it had a small rip along the seam after the first flight. I called the 1800 number and they were ready to replace it in the first 30 seconds. I told them that wasn’t necessary the rip wasn’t that bad, I just wanted it documented incase it got worse the next time we traveled. They registered ALL my products, even though you’re supposed to do it within 3 months of purchase and I’ve had my car seat and stroller for almost a year. They said everything is documented if there’s more damage just reach out and they’ll replace it. All this took place in a phone call that was less than 5minutes and emailing a couple pictures. You get what you pay for.

So well made, well padded, super high quality item well worth the price. I bought wrong size but will be ordering the right size of this soon.

I'm very happy with this bag! We just took our first trip with our 8 week old baby, which involved flying from Detroit to Florida with our Uppababy Mesa car seat and Vista stroller. Initially, I wasn't completely sure if this bag would be necessary, but since Uppababy products aren't cheap I figured it would be best to protect the investment. My skepticism didn't last long... I was incredibly grateful for this bag (as well as the Vista travel bag) after watching other passengers' strollers and car seats (that were not in any sort of protective bag) be carelessly thrown around on the tarmac while being unloaded from the plane! Being a first time mom, I had never paid attention to his on previous flights. It was very easy and fast to put the Mesa car seat in the travel bag while waiting to board the plane and the bag did a fantastic job of protecting it! I highly recommend this to anyone who need to transport their car seat via airline gate check.

We used this a few times to carry our Uppababy MESA through the airport and onto the plane. This is a nicer bag than some of the generic bags out there and has a pretty sturdy zipper and some padding. It can kind of convert into a backpack to free up the hands for other items. The only downside is the expense but after reading how the other car seat travel bags hold up, I can say this one did not rip, the zipper still functions, and it kept the car seat clean and intact.

It’s better to buy the big bag that fits both the stroller and rumble seat. This is a waste of money. Doesn’t fit my vista rumble seat!
