Then I did more until I get a nice even tone all over my legs thighs and feet. Then I work my way up to arms in the same order. Small squirts and working evenly. I never had any streaking EVER with this product! Nice even bronze color not orange at all. Then the kick, is in about 3 hours you get a darker color. Leave it on over the day it develops into more color. Next morning, shower and it looks super nice. If you want more color add over your tan more color and do until you like color. I am a medium skin tone I did a med to dark color and it looks great. I did it about every 3 days. Did not come off on clothes. Since you already have color buildup it keeps the tan looking even. It's also faster since you don't really need the mitt and dries quickly. But LOVE IT! *by S***S on April 28, 2016* I have somewhat fair skin. I'm very white and I don't tan easily at all. But I don't really burn either. When I lay in the sun my skin gets a little bit of color and that is all. I read the reviews on here and saw a lot of people complaining about the fact that it comes out of the bottle green. Mine also came out green, but I still applied it all over my body anyway. I'm pretty sure that the green is normal because everything went the way it was supposed to. I did not use an application mitt, just some latex gloves and it went on pretty evenly! I had a couple spots I missed but that's my fault. It dries super fast--I think it could probably even dry a little slower to make application a little easier especially for beginners like me. It did not stain my white bed sheets or my clothes. I noticed a pretty big difference only 2 hours later! After I woke up the next morning I freaked out a little, because I looked pretty orange. Especially my face and I even mixed the formula with aloe vera based lotion for my face to lighten it up a little. I took a shower and a lot of orangish-grey went down the drain. I got out and looked in the mirror and the tan was BEAUTIFUL. No orange at all!!! I've never been this tan before and it usually takes me a good month to get a color even lighter than this by laying out! I am very happy with the end result and I kind of want to try to go darker but I'm a little nervous since this is the darkest I've ever been already. I'm probably going to reapply in 3 days and then stick to the directions of reapplying every 5-7 days. I hope the bottle lasts a while! This is a keeper!! Oh and also, in my opinion it smells really great at first, kind of a perfume smell, but then when it starts to react with your skin the smell isn't too pleasant. But this is normal for self tanners and it definitely doesn't smell near as bad as others that I've used!! It's pretty subtle. If this is your first self tanning product then this might be something you'd complain about, but try using other ones!
