Wow, I'm absolutely blown away. I was super skeptical because this is literally my 5th pump in search of a quiet, powerful air pump. This blows everything else away by an insane margin.It's the quietest pump by far next to the weak piezo pumps. It's so quiet I thought surely it must be moving barely any air. It's like 3x more air than my "6 watt" pump.So far I've had:piezo 1.5w pumps- too weak for most applications, but otherwise nice.3w pumps- too much noise for their air, worst compromise.6w pump- barely more noise for much more air than 3wNow this pump- quieter than a 3w, insanely more air than my 6w.

I bought this to replace an insanely loud, vibrating AirPod. I was blown away by the quality of it right out of the box. It was not like a normal air pump with plastic air outlets – these were metal. And strong! I had to turn it down several notches right off the bat. If I needed more two outlet systems, I’d load up on these!They also have suction cups at the bottom so that they don’t fall off the top of your tank like a lot of other pumps will, and it looks beautiful. It is a very nicely designed piece for your home. Highly recommend, and there aren’t many air pumps that I would highly recommend these days!

Picked this up to use with small air stones to aerate a 10 gal tank. I chose the 5W version hoping it would make less noise than the 10w model and I didn't need much air. The 5W has two outputs, and as other reviewers have commented, leaving one open does add a puffing sound to the noise the motor makes. I joined the two ports with a Y connector to solve this problem. The pump made WAY too much air for my small stone, so I added a small valve to reduce the flow. Worked great.I would not say the pump is silent but not at all annoying. It has bouncy rubber feet that help isolate the vibrations, and I have it on the floor below the tank so no vibes get to the fish.The only snag I ran into is the output ports are too large for the standard/Amazon recommended tubing. I had to use a small piece of automotive vacuum line to serve as an adapter. Worked great but I don't understand why the ports are so big...on a small pump.Fish are happy with the flow and are often swimming through the gentle stream of bubbles.

I read some comments here but i did not beleive. After i started using today, guys this pump silent as flies and super powerful. Expensive then other models but its definetely worth it.

I have been into aquarium hobby for over 20 years. I've had air pumps that range in size and Last for years. The downside? They're loud! Designs for air pumps haven't change much. I saw this and gave it shot.Wow! I'm impressed. I didn't even think it was on. Powerful and quiet.How long will it last? That we shall see.

I've had one for over a year, no issue, good airflow, slightly more than others but worth it. It's good enough that i bought another one for another tank set up

The media could not be loaded. I replaced a 100 gallon per hour compressor with this guy which is closer to 250 or 300. The difference is noticeable. I have much more bubbles which agitate the surface more. I'm running it on the lowest setting because even that produces ample bubbles. It is super super quiet. When I first got it I thought there was an issue because there was a loud whine. However, I tracked the issue down to a check valve. This air maker was so strong that a check valve was acting like a whistle. Once I changed the configuration a bit, everything was super quiet again. I'm attaching a video and a photo for your inspection. This is a single 4-in round stone at about 24 in deep which is being run from the compressor about 5 ft away and through a four-way gang on the lowest setting.2024.03.30 Update: Almost no bubbles anymore. Didn't see anything to clean. Think the motor just faded.

I’ve bought a lot of air pumps in my lifetime, and this by far is the best! I’m blown away by how extremely quiet it is! It’s also nice and powerful, and I appreciate the settings which allow me to control the pump power. Also, it’s aesthetically very pleasing. I really couldn’t ask for more. 5/5 stars!
