I got these for when my son was around 4 months old. He could eat with a spoon but yanno, it would be super messy as expected. So I started putting his baby food in these and about after 2 times of using these, he finally understood how to do it by sucking on them- he ate more actual baby food with these and I could tell he enjoyed it much more rather than using a spoon. He’s 6 months now- so now he’s been using a spoon anytime I feed him- BUT I do plan on using these now for fruits he can’t fully eat yet but can have the juice of

It wasn’t what I thought! I thought the handle was silicone too, but it’s plastic. Was very disappointed about that. I think I misunderstood though.

So far has been perfect for my baby who still doesn't have teeth. Nipple plastic does get stained by fruit.I appreciate the different size options and how comes with two and lids .
