Smaller, I missed the word "mantel" in the description - you can't hang this. It stands nicely on it's own tho. Very clean appearance, looks nice. You can hear the ticking though, I was hoping to avoid that. It uses that standard cheap clock battery block the 4.99 use but I suppose they work!
