I read this textbook for my first Human Behavior in the Social Environment class and it was very helpful in exploring the theories of social work. I was exposed to a lot of new information in regards to pursuing my bachelor's in social work since this textbook reinforced my drive for the career!

This textbook is printed in 8 point font and is practically unreadable, with excessive white space in the margins. I’ll be sending it back for an ebook instead of getting eyestrain for the next 4 months

I’ve skimmed the first chapter and reasonably well written.Unfortunately, whoever published this thing made terrible and disqualifying decisions about creative design.Well-written is not good enough to compensate for physically unreadable book.If your professor assigned this, weep.If you’re looking for a book to learn theory on your own DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK.
