GenovaPRODUCTS 46344 Downspout Adapter, White

The portion that accepts the gutter downspout is not sized properly - it's way too big. The 4" width is correct, but the 3" depth is more like 3.7" or so. The result is a large gap that is rather unsightly. Otherwise the product works fine.

Actual dimensions for the adapters sold by Gatzies is 3 3/8" x 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" from the inside (female adapters are always measured from the inside, males always from the outside). I think what's happening is they are making their measurements for the molding on these female adapters from the outside, but even then the material is thinner than your standard PVC piping. In any case, now you know. Take heed of this review and learn from my mistake. Gatzies return policy is a 20% restocking fee and buyer pays for return shipping...

Heavy duty.. bought others and much weaker so when I saw these I returned those.

I wasn’t able to get this size adaptor from Home Depot or Lowes even that they sell four inch downspouts. As expected, it fits well so I was very greatful for availability.

Exactly what I was looking for. I have large downspouts and was having trouble finding the 3×4×4 offset adapters. This offsets where the gutter downspout enters the PVC underground piping, causing the downspout to sit closer to the house for a flush and cleaner look.

This product left to much gap between the gutter downspout and the adapter ( see photo). Its nearly 1/2 inch gap. I returned this one and purchased one locally at HD and it fit tightly around the gutter. Not sure why they would design it with that much of a gap but I wouldn't use it.

Larger than expected on one side by about 1/2".
