I don't mean just that they can be heaped one upon another. The lids fit closely upon each other.Besides having a great set of cookware that takes up very little space, it isn’t hard to find the piece you need. Every pot and pan is organized and right where it should be. I don’t know about you, but it makes me want to get in the kitchen and start making something delicious!

I just bought these pans yesterday was the first time I used them made mashed potatoes with a mixer and it took the coating off and there ad and video shows that u can use a mixer

I LOVE this cookware! I’ve had all of the top brands, Calphalon, Cuisinart , Kitchen Aide and these are BY FAR my favorite yet!!!

I haven't tried to cook with the cookware yet, so there may be other things yet to be discovered. I do think that a steamer basket that fit on the stock pot would make the set more complete, but it's nice the way it is. I was so impressed with the appearance and utility of the cookware that I was all set to write a review that was all raves, that is until I washed it, as they suggest. Gotham should also suggest that you don't immerse the lids while cleaning. If you do you'll find that dishwater seeps in around the edge of the glass and there is no way to get it out. I was able to rotate one of lids until most of dishwater dripped out, but that trick didn't work with other lids.I don't know about you, but I'm not thrilled with idea of mixing stagnate dishwater with my food.

This is amazing set of pots and pans. It heats well, doesn’t stick when food burns and it cleans so easy. This could’ve been a perfect set except the fact that the lids are just total waste of product. If I knew how horrible the pots were I wouldn’t have purchased them. The lids get so hot and the worst part is food gets and water get trapped in the lid and no matter what I did I couldn’t get it out. I think the company needs make this right and make new lids. It’s so frustrating. But I still gave 4 stars as the pots and pans are amazing.

After 3 months, the inside surface is bubbling and the inside bolt fell off. They were nonstick for the first month. These were never put in a dishwasher, always hand washed. Will never purchase a product from Gotham Steel again.

The pans themselves are okay. They are light, and they get scratched up with minimal use. The handles get hot and you must use a hot pad to touch them while cooking. I can live with all that because I bought them for their stackability in my very minimal cabinet space. Today however I discovered that the lids have a significant (and disgusting!!) design flaw. The glass of the lid and the metal rim have a very thin space between them and water and food particles build up in there to rot and there's no way to get it out. I tried a toothpick but it does not reach far enough in there. I tried a flat metal measuring scoop handle and even that would not fit in there to scoop the food gunk out. I also tried a flattened disposable drinking straw and even that could not get to the nasty food gunk. This is absolutely disgusting and there's no way to avoid it if you get your lids wet. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

my morning bacon and eggs were sticking to my old teflon pans. not so with gotham steel copper pans. they seem well built. so far great value for the price of the product.

My new home has an induction cooktop so I ordered this pot set. They are beautiful and stack well for easy storage. I used the large frying pan and was so pleased! Yesterday I tried to cook with one of the saucepans and IT DID NOT WORK with the induction stove, then I tried the small frying pan and THAT ONE DIDN' WORK EITHER! It was at this moment that I realized that the large pots worked and the small ones didn't. That's 50%! The only problem is my stove is 100% induction so 50% won't cut it. So I am sending this back! And now I will have no pots that until I find something better. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!!!

I live in a small basement suite when I was fed up with my old pots and pans that took a huge chunk of my kitchen cabinet even when I purchased storage racks designed to store them to take less space! I came across this product after seeing it in a TV commercial and was impressed by it that I decided to find it here on Amazon and I'm glad I did! I haven't started cooking with these yet but I'm glad I finally have the right cookware that takes less space than my old pots and pans! I highly recommend it if you live in a small apartment or if you simply want to maximize the kitchen storage if you live in a condo or a house. UPDATE: After cooking with these, I'm very impressed! It doesn't get scratched if you use wooden or silicone cooking utensils and had no trouble cleaning them (just a pinch of dish soap or a spray of Dawn Powerwash and a non scratching sponge will do the trick).

Found it kind of deep, was not expecting that, but kept it anyway, but would have preferred something not quite as deep. Was trying to make some pancakes in it but because the middle is raised the mix kept sliding to the side and not making round pancakes. But will work for some other dish, have not yet tried anything else.

Different animal from the first set i bought a couple of years ago, which was good enough for me to stick with the brand. But this new set is amazing — tule non stick with no oil, very robust surface that browns and sears food well and cleans easily, new design that is as beautiful as it is functional — love the lids!
