House of Odd
Last of the graphic novels and I loved them all. This one was more paranormal than the other but a great collaboration. I really enjoyed having my favorite couple together again.

This is the best of Koontz's graphic novels
This is the third volume of Dean Koontz graphic novels. See my reviews of the prior two in which I discuss Dean Koontz books generally, as well as Odd Thomas and these graphic novels. This is the first time that Landry Q. Walker worked with Dean Koontz on the series. It is a much better story and has more humor than the prior two volumes.Odd Thomas' friend asks him to help a movie producer who bought a house that seems to be haunted. However she feels that Odd and his pistol-packing girl friend Stoney Llewellen are just amateurs and unable to help her, even though, as we know, Odd has the ability to see the dead. She hires a team of three ghost-busters, three fakes, who perform nonsensical acts that add to the story's humor. Both adults and youngsters will enjoy this book and, hopefully, be inspired to read Koontz's full novels.

Oddly enjoyable
Enjoyed the story. I love that in the graphic novels Stormy is still alive. I miss her in the odd books. I know she is mentioned in the books but I hate that she passed. I love the Odd series as I love all of Koonz books. Well done and a quick read. I prefer color to black and white but the characters were well defined and the story itself was easy to follow. Another winner

It was Odd from the start.
This was a fun and engaging prequel to the events of the first Odd Thomas novel. A great introduction to the character, these graphic novels are lighter in tone and scope that the novels, but they are no less interesting. In the graphic novels, we get a view of what came before and the backstory of Odd and Stormy. Great story with manga-esque art make House of Odd a fun and quick one-sitting read for readers who have followed Odd from the start to newbies who stumbled across the title while looking through graphic novel selections.House of Odd is a must for anyone who's been following the exploits of Odd Thomas and his cohorts, and a great intro for those who are new to the books. Don't miss it!

Odd Is King
Ok this book was not exactly what I expected when it says "graphical novel". I figured that it would be graphic in details not be a book that my 11 year old son asked if it was a comic book. With that being said I did thoroughly enjoy knowing that if I get the rest of the "graphic novels" I will have the back story to Odd Thomas. The book ends with an exert from Koontz's Odd Hours to leave you wanting to read not only Odd Hours but his Summer 2012 release Odd Apocalypse. I can not wait!

Even if graphic novels are not your thing...
You are either into graphic novels or not, and some readers may not be. But for me, it was great to have these โearlyโ stories, with Stormy, etc. You can read them in likeโฆ 10 minutesโฆ but very glad he created them with the artists.

Love Dean Koontz .. was not expecting a graphic novel
It would help if I could read as I did not think that I was ordering a comic book. It was interesting but I prefer the regular old-fashion novels.Dean ... if you or someone you knows reads this, please get back to books like Strangers and Watchers. I do love Odd Thomas but 77 Shadow Street was a let-down.BillH

Not sure why...
people are giving this a bad review because of their own lack of due care and attention in ordering... (speaking of the US site, particularly)That said, I loved Queenie Chan's illustrations, just as I did for the others in this series (In Odd We Trust, Odd is on Our Side). She truly is an amazing artist and I think she captures Odd perfectly. I've also bought and read her manga series 'The Dreaming' based on the work she's done for the Odd Thomas series and I really liked it.The story is, as usual for a graphic novel, more of a short story than a novel, but it's by no means a bad story. I love getting these little vignettes about Odd's life outside of Koontz's novels! In this one, Odd is asked to help a friend figure out what's making workmen run from a job site and never come back.
