I used this kit to re-wire my living room lamps (puppy chewed through the earlier cords; no puppy was damaged in the making of this review). There weren’t instructions on how to use it, but luckily I’ve use lamp kits before, so all was ok. Works great.

I had such hope for this, after all it should be simple right 🤷‍♀️. I had an older lamp for which I still wanted but didn't work, this was the reason I decided to try rewiring it myself, little did u realize that it came without instructions and turned out to not work 😒. I'll be returning this after attempting 10x to get it to work.

The instuctions for this kit are a bit lacking and actually were not accurate. This could cause someone to wire the kit backwards if they don't know what they are doing. If you aren't familiar with electrical wiring or need/want a high quality fit and finish go with another kit, as this one seems cheaply made. If you are comfortable with wiring or just don't care about the finished quality then this will work for you.

Has all the parts but if you’re doing this for the first time the instructions aren’t very good. After watching a (non-related) youtube video I had to ditch the first repair and order another kit. Seems ok for the price though.

These were easy to use and worked like a charm. I have a number of old lamps from the 1950s and earlier. I don't trust the old cords and am replacing them with modern. These were easy to use and work well. I do think the price is a bit high and believe you can probably find them for a better price if you've got time to look around.

This kit was a great value because it included everything you would need to rewire a lamp. The only negative to this kit was it did not have instructions. Youtube was quite helpful.

Good price to make a really expensive lamp new again. Easy to use. Take a picture of the lamp before you start to help you put the pieces back in the right sequence.

Very easy to replace, just need a screwdriver and 5 to 10 minutes and your good to go
