Impressive
First sealskinz productOriginally purchased my go too size been a large and finding the finger length little short..Returned, repurchased XL size, finding this a good fit, also the extra size has given more warm air space. These glove are rated a mid weather glove and found them useable -1 degrees at a 30 minutes bike ride into work, arriving still warm hands.Good amount of rain on them, no problem and work a treat…Only negative being once you’ve got one glove on, the small Velcro tab gets little fiddly putting into place on the remaining glove.

Ok so far, but fit could be better
They're currently keeping hands warm and dry on my 30min cycle commute. Recently in some pretty torrential rain too. They do soak a bit of water on the outside material. And the palm padding is like a sponge. But they've been fairly quick to dry. And more importantly, no water has reached my hands yet.So up to now they're performing as advertised! I'll update if they fail.A few criticisms, though; If you wear a watch, it's very hard to get a good fasten on the velcro cuff. The fastener could do with being at least twice as long.My hands circumference is 8 inches and the small fits ok-ish. The fingers feel a bit too long, and the thumbs feels a bit too small.lastly, I would have preferred rubberised tips for wet weather brake lever grip. No idea who's trying to use the touch screen tips wearing these gloves. It's very cumbersome.

Great for commute distances
These gloves are excellent for a commute to work, keeping you dry and warm. I commute 1 hour each way and they are ideal. However on long rides they stop resisting water - I cycled 150km in Central Europe over Spring and the weather was torrential. The gloves held up for a few hours, but by the last couple of hours I may as well have been using them in a swimming pool. I guess they can't be breathable without some openness to the elements, so just be aware. If you want fully waterproof, I suggest Kevlar or rubber!

Guide too small
I followed the sizing guide and the gloves are a little small and I find that the thumb and index finders feel very short and put pressure on those digits. The gloves are warm but as a result my hands are sweating and the gloves are hard to dry. They are however, the warmest gloves I have found in years of searching. I went one size bigger but should have gone 2 sizes bigger.Better than most but the thumb and finger thing isn't so good.

Not waterproof.
These are not waterproof and not warm when wet. I’m very disappointed. The first real test last night in rain and cold and they failed miserably.
