Hand Crank Dough Maker

I bought my Ez Doh a few years ago and I just love it. I use it to make our monthly pizza dough. When I originally bought the Ez Doh I had the plastic crank. I have since gotten the metal crank and it is so much better. The Ez Doh website sells the metal crank. John, the owner of Ez Doh is so nice. He acquired the business a couple of years ago and decided to upgrade the crank to metal at that time. TERRIFIC idea. He was very helpful in explaining the benefits of the metal over the plastic crank to me. Great product.

I was a skeptic when I saw this, but I wasn't ready to spend hundreds on something else. It's pretty simple, but be prepared for a upper body workout. My only issue is I had someone else hold it down while I turned the wheel. The first bread came out great.

Purchased on 24 Sept 2023. I'm a novice when it comes to baking. I have used this dough maker 15 times or more. It is a manual dough machine and does require some effort to use. But the results I have achieved with this machine are waist changing. I finally decided do write a review as I just finished making a dough and I am excited for some homemade bread. This machine works.

I've tried this several times and had frustrations all the time, specifically with the kneading unit...hard to put on, slips around in the bucket and does not knead completely. The good news, though, is that this whole experience has inspired me to keep on trying on my own!

I have owned my EZ DOH since 2014. I used it quite a bit and it works very well. Somewhere along the way, I decided I needed a KA mixer to mix my bread dough. As it turned out, I hardly ever used for my bread dough. I hardly used it at all. I went back to my EZ DOH to mix my bread dough and it is so much easier and better for me. No electricity required. I read some of the low ratings and I can attest that I have never had an issue with mine...after 8 years. For me, this product was/is worth the money.

I wanted something small and easy to use to mix flour and yogurt in order to make rolls that I've come to enjoy. The idea of this mixer was good. The price was reasonable. It fits in the dishwasher on the top shelf or can be washed by hand. It's easy enough to store. My main complaint is that it does not remain stationary on the counter when mixing. It slides around, making it difficult to knead the dough without having someone else to hold the plastic bucket still. It would be much easier if there were suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place. Otherwise it kneads well, as long as someone is holding it while you are turning the crank. Otherwise you have to keep moving your hand so that you can hold it still and crank simultaneously. Additional review: I had this for 2.5 months; have used it 4 times. On the 4th time the black plastic from the turning handle flaked into my bread dough. It is too late to return it now so I guess I wasted $50 and am now ordering a different mixer. After contacting the seller I received a quick reply and was issued a refund. I am very impressed with this seller and appreciate their attenrion to this matter.

Easy to use, easy to clean, but very tiring 😫

This manual device replaced my old bread machine that I used strictly to make bread dough. There's a YouTube site from the creator Jinny: EZ DOH Manual Bread Dough Maker Instructional Demo. The longer you work the dough (maybe 10 ish minutes) the better the texture of the dough. Use melted butter over oil. Clever device, glad I got it
