The brushed nickel finish looks pretty nice, but the shower head itself feels quite plasticky, not the heavy-duty metal type if you are looking for that. However, I care more about functionality, and the spray modes are actually quite good.I followed another reviewer’s tip and removed the water restriction ring, this made a huge difference in water pressure.His/her instructions: Before attaching the shower head to the pipe, use tweezers to remove the small blue filter inside.My added tip: To make the removal process easier, start by prying off the black rubber ring first. This gives you better access to the holes underneath, making it easier to use any thing heavy duty and fine-tipped or pliers to remove the filter. It doesn’t require much strength, just a bit of patience.

Easy to install and I've noticed a difference in my skin and hair. I also like the pause feature for when I'm washing my daughter's hair so that I don't have to fiddle with the temperature of the water again

Just like many cheaply made products, this has come caveats when installing. Instructions are void of any real helpful advice. But these things are fairly simple to install. First, do not use teflon tape. This is a plastic product, teflon tape is not required (although it's in the package). Second, use a wrench to tighten the neck piece to your shower pipe. Make it very tight but do not tighten until it cracks. Just make small tightening adjustments until the drips stop while the shower is running. Third, you MUST remove the tiny blue water restrictor from the shower head. They do not mention this in the instructions, which is why I am mentioning it here. If you do not, the flow will be very slow. It's simple to remove. Just need a cotter pin, small screwdriver, a small pick. It just pops out (see my pictures). Once it is removed you can get full flow. After considering all of these things, it's a good value.

All the other reviewers are spot on: This shower head has an insane amount of water pressure. (I will also say, that it has the most flexible hose I've ever encountered as well, and it's metal clad to boot!) I've actually purchased this unit twice. Both times, I've been exceedingly happy with my purchase.The first unit, I bought a few years back. It came with a multitude of differently rated regulators that adjust how much water is allowed to flow (adjusts the water pressure). I like a really good strong shower flow, so, like everyone else I removed all the regulators. The water came through so powerfully that it was quite painful. And I couldn't reliably hold the shower head in my hand. Its force was so powerful that it would rip itself out of my grip like a firehose and fly all over the shower. (Admittedly, we have pretty high water pressure where I live.) So, I ended up putting one of the regulators back into the shower head and it was perfect after that.The shower head lasted several years before the hose between the wall and the handheld shower head sprang a leak. I don't fault the shower head for this. Like I mentioned earlier, we have very high water pressure. So, all our water fixtures have a tendency to fail sooner than average. And considering the low price of this product, it's not an issue to replace it every handful of years.I did notice that the latest unit only came with one style of regulator. I didn't care for its level of regulation. So, I ended up pulling the regulator out of the old shower head and popping it into this one. But that is a special case for me, because of the afore-mentioned high pressure in our pipes. The new unit is running beautifully, and I couldn't be happier with it.If our high pressure gets to this unit in a few years, I will still happily purchase another of these units. They are very economically priced, and there is simply no other product I've found on the market that can deliver this much force and pressure at such a great price.There are some that will fault this product for being plastic instead of metal (although, it is beautifully chromed to look like metal) . I consider the plastic a plus, not a minus. If you drop your handheld shower head, or it flies out of your hand because of the force of the water coming out of it, a metal shower head flying through the air has a better chance of damaging your shower walls/floor/door, whether tile, glass, fiberglass, etc. Whereas, a plastic shower head has almost no chance of causing expensive damage to your surroundings. If an impact happens, and something has to give, I'd rather the easily (and more cheapily) replaceable shower head be the sacrificial part, rather than my shower wall/floor tiles, or the glass door to our shower. So, I feel making the unit out of plastic is a value-add.All in all, this is one of the very few online purchases that I can say I am truly glad I've made and would happily purchase again and again without question. I'd wager to say they've reach the pinnacle of what this product can be, attaining as close to perfection as is possible. And so, I hope they don't make any changes to it and continue to sell it in its current form for a long time to come.I whole-heartedly recommend this product.

Just what I wanted. Mounts easily and looks great. Quite a few patterns for water flow. Will buy again and recommend it.

I just tries out my shower yesterday on May 6 and May 7. I didn't know if I would like it because it works like a regular shower. I love it for that fact. I have it on the strongest level and it rinses better. I can also use the different settings to turn it down, but now all I have to do is make sure of what setting I want before I get in the tub. It is higher than the one I had before but the force of the spray means is once I get the temperature I want, all I have to do is pull up from the tub to shower it it comes out right away. It feels so good and instead of cutting it off, I just step back to soap up and step under to rinse. I feel so much cleaner. I amonly 5"3 inches tall and I don't have to pull the shower down or cut it off in between my shower. If I want to though I can still reach the settings of the spray of the shower. Love it!

I bought this for my son and his family. I haven’t heard if one and it’s great. Daughter in law loves using this to wash the baby. Everyone should have one of these
