I have some VERY expensive copper pots and pans.VERY expensive.It's a real challenge keeping the copper glistening.I tried all kinds of methods that I found online and nothing worked.Or if it did work, it required WAY too much time and effort.For a while, there was a powder that ceased manufacturing even though it worked like a charm.Once that stopped being manufactured I placed all my copper ware in storage.Then I found Twinkle.OMG!What ease of use! I have been using Twinkle for years as I am originally from Canada and have a lot of brass ornaments to clean, it was never available in this country so every time I went back to Canada on holiday I used to buy lots of boxes to last me a few years. I have tried many copper cleaners on my copper cookware but Twinkle is simply the best. It is quick and easy to use and leaves the cookware gleaming. It is not unkind to your hands either! If doing only one or two pieces I do not bother with gloves; if doing the entire set I do use them. I try to purchase this by the 'case' as it saves money and I always have it available. And yes, there are some stains that don't just disappear but this is so much more effective than any other I've tried.

Just bought some Twinkle today to shine my Zildjian cymbals after several months. I have been using Twinkle a couple times a year for over 50 years. Never found a better cleaner/polish for brass ANYWHERE. Today I am totally disappointed in something i had depended on all these years. It looks/smells the same- but there were several bits of grit in the paste and it did not clean like it used to. I'm used to the Twinkle cutting right thru any tarnish/grime very quickly and the sponge turns black. Today it took twice as long and twice as much Twinkle to do the job. The first tip that things weren't right were the brown- not black streaks it was leaving and the brown sludge on the sponge. There is NO tobacco in the house- and when there was- there was no BROWN on the sponge. Something has been changed for the worse.

This is the best brass & copper cleaner I've ever used. It makes cleaning these two metals fast and easy and can be used to clean silver also, although they sell one which is supposed to be only for silver. I used to buy this product at my local grocery stores long time ago until they stopped selling them. I am lucky to get them from the manufacturer through amazon.com at a very reasonable price. It comes out even cheaper if you buy them by the dozen.
