Aikoi Adorable Animal Style Self-watering Plant Pot Planter Straw Cup, Self-watering Tail Planters (Panda)

While adorable, the panda does not stay on any cup/mug/glass. The paws are simply not curved enough to keep a grip. Speaking of grip; a sticky adhesive on the parts that touch the cup would be helpful to ensure a secure fit. I've tried glass cups, plastic cups, ceramic mugs, ceramic cups, every cup in my cupboard and no success in finding a fit. It balances on the lip of the cup/mug/glass but arbitrarily falls off if you look at it, walk past it, sit near it, breathe, etc.You can try to put it on a cup and it might work out great for you. It did not for me and it may break and make a mess when it falls because it has some weight to it (it is all ceramic, except for the straw part). If you do get it because you can't resist, it is tiny and the basket/planter part is about as big as your thumb to the first joint. I have worked as a professional gardener for 5 years in both a commercial and municipal environment (I've grown plants from seed in excess of 20,000 plants a year) and am fully confident that you can grow a plant from seed but it would become root bound and very unhappy quickly. You would have to continually replace the plant or reseed frequently (probably 2-3 times a year).On a positive note, considering that if came from China, the shipping was good and protective and arrived earlier than planned.I would give it one star but amazon objectifies it with an "I hate it" and it's too darn cute to hate, thus the 2-star rating.

They're well constructed and the self watering part works really well but the seeds that it comes with must be too old, they just don't grow. If ordering these planters I would also order other seeds to grow with them so it can actually be used as a planter, if you don't you're stuck with a cute ceramic animal with a straw.

The left eye is kind of running down, therefore the quality is impacted. I bought two of these and this seems to be a trend. I was a little disappointed with the product for this reason. It did however come with seeds and a packet of dirt which is nice. The straw is very fragile, it will break quickly. I would return it to get a better one, however my other one has the same left eye issue so it seems it's a common occurrence with this product.

I think it's cute, however I had to modify it. I got the panda and painted dots on the eyes because it they looked off, you can tell the paint job was very quick so not a lot of effort was put into any details. I had to super glue it back together 3 times! it kept falling off the glass and is more fragile than it looks. now it's been 2 weeks and the basil still hasn't grown even in perfect temperature and light conditions. So all in all it was a cute idea but kind of disappointing.

I don't normally write reviews, but this is super cute! At first I was a little skeptical about weather or not it would work, but it does! The little plants are sprouting and I really love this product!I had to wait for like two weeks before the soil got damp, but after that it works fine. I lost the seeds that I recived from the seller but I did use my own, hope that helps those who are confused!

As a panda lover and plant lover I was thrilled to find this panda planter!!It's a nifty gadget that waters your plant for you in it's adorable little backpack!!

This product come completely broken and unusable. Really disappointing.
