Mr. Pants: Slacks, Camera, Action!

Another blockbuster hit by McCormick and Lazzell! Fans of the 2014 Mr. Pants release "It's Go Time" will be pleased the sequel has grown along with its readers. The chapters are denser with action and dialogue so the read takes about a half hour. The familiar four main characters are still fun and feisty, with illustrations that spill enthusiastic personality. This is a bedtime book my whole family will crowd around and enjoy, each kid (5 and 8) reading a different voice. Recommend to families with K-5th graders and a taste for the silly. Spoiler alert: Mom. Always. Wins.

Scott McCormick's first Mr. Pants book, It's Go Time, had my son and me in stitches. We couldn't get enough of it amd we read it every night for a while. This one, Slacks, Camera, Action is also very funny. Though not quite the hysterical story line of the former, it is still incredibly entertaining and did not disappoint. I can't wait to read his most recent, Trick or Feet, with my son next, but I'm saving that one for his birthday!

My eight year old laughs out loud at Mr. Pants. He had "Go Time," so he was very pleased to add "Slacks, Camera, Action" to his bookshelf. It shipped very quickly. I would recommend!

So much fun! My husband was reading this to my son and even he was cracking up!

My 10 year old son adores these books! He is laughing out loud reading them and that makes me happy to see him love a book! Fun humor and great illustrations! We cannot wait for more in the series!!!
