Homegear 7000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner/Dehumidifier/Fan with Remote Control, A Energy Rating

With the heat wave hitting the UK of late this has been a god send. I would say there is nothing better than sitting a lovely chill room but there is. Sitting in a lovely chilled room laughing at all the other chumps on social media moaning about the heat.I don't think I could sleep without it now. Having a room at a constant set temperature is amazing and lovely to walk into fresh out of the shower.It takes about 15 minutes to cool a decent sized room if it has been off all day too and that was on a 37 degree day.Pound for pound, bin the fans and get one you won't be sorry.

At under £165 it was the cheapest one I could find. I already own a 7000BTU aircon which manages to cool a lounge dining room.This one struggles to reduce the temp by 2 degrees in a room half the size and makes a lot of noise in the process.I always thought that a BTU rating indicated the size of room an aircon could cool but it appears that all aircon units are not created equal.Give this one a miss.

Works well, however for someone keeping it in their bedroom on a hot summers evening, I wouldn’t recommend it around the time you are sleeping. It is extremely loud, it sounds like an aircraft taking off.

Powerful air con, my biggest room is 14ft x14ft. Brings the room down to a chilled 16 degrees, even in the hot weather. Fan is a little noisy but i wasnt looking to buy a quiet fan. For a bargain price tag, you get a super duper room cooler, no more muggy nights for me!!!

Fantastic product for the money. Compact and not too heavy. Easy too wheel around and much quieter than my old unit 👍
