My wife and I have clip-in shoes, but our daughter is still growing, so we got the cages for her to use. Any time we need to remove the cages for us to ride the peloton with our clip-in shoes, it is extremely difficult.I explained this to the seller, and requested a refund, but they simply replied and told me they are easily removed with shoes on. This isn’t the case. You can twist your foot all you want in an effort to un-clip the cages, but the straps just allow your foot to move without turning the cages at all.

These pedals are a disaster. I hate them and I regret buying them.I got a Peloton a few weeks ago and got these pedals for the bike so my kids (11 & 13) could ride too. The amount of force required to attach these pedals to my Peloton's pedals is nothing short of bruising. Literally. The palm of my right hand is bruised from pressing so hard. Getting them out so I can ride with my cycling shoes is no less difficult.Additionally, the strap is flimsy and frequently loosens when my son is pedaling quickly, causing his foot to slip and risk injury.The only thing I liked about these was the fact that they attached directly to the existing Peloton equipment but it's not worth the hassle.I decided to buy my kids used cycling shoes for the bike and send these back. Good riddance.

Easy to use and assemble. No qualms about this product. Does as intended and removed the Peloton shoe requirements.

This works perfectly for the Peloton. Love the fact that I can jump on the bike with any shoes. I only have one complaint, and its a dumb one.... these are top heavy, so when sitting on the bike you have to putz around with your foot to flip the pedal and then quickly slip your foot in before it very quickly flips again. Told you it was a dumb complaint.No one uses the Peloton shoes in my house anymore, preference is for this toe cage instead. Clipping in the first time took me a second, and I did put the pedal on the wrong side, so I had to unclip it. I had to put my weight into unclipping it. Reviewers are right that it was hard to take out by hand - I really had to force it. It is not a problem for me since this is now a permanent add. FYI, you can loosen the screw on the bottom of the pedal to make clipping in/out easier, just be careful that its not so loose that you unclip unintentionally and hurt yourself.

Bought this product for several reasons; compatible with the Peloton bike my wife has, adjustability, quality of the product and ease of installation. It arrived quickly and in great condition. My wife is a size 7 shoe so I adjusted it as small as I could get it. Not anywhere near a good position for her as the balls of her feet were way too far forward making it uncomfortable to ride. Contacted the company selling it, explained the problem, they said "one size should fit all" so, send it back for a refund from amazon. Liked the product and gave it a good look. Made some modifications and she tried it again. Worked great! with very little work. Sent photos to the company selling it but have not heard anything in reply. If you are a guy with size 10 shoes this will work great for you but anything smaller, modifications would be needed. I would buy this again as appropriate to size.

These came by USPS fairly quickly. I loosened the "binding" with an Allen wrench, as shown, put in the toe clips, and tightened the "bindings" back up. I will be returning my Peloton shoes. These appear to be very well constructed. My only beef is that unlike they show in the video on Amazon, the toe clips on mine do not slide back & forth - we are stuck with the toe clips at full length. I strongly recommend that Peloton offer something like this instead of their ripoff shoes. Sent my wife's pair back to Peloton before we even got these toe cages but I waited until we got the cages.

I only received 1 pedal in my order... So beware that you may need to buy two to make these usable. Contact seller before buying.

These do what they're supposed to, they allow my kids and wife to ride the Peloton without needing their own Look Delta shoes/cleats. The strap adjustment is very easy to loosen and tighten, and it fits all the shoe sizes we've thrown at it (8 year old up to about a women's 9). Once secured, my kids haven't had any issues with their feet slipping out.Installation is best done with regular shoes on and in the toe clips. Since I'm usually doing this for my 8 year old, it's very awkward because he's not heavy enough to get the cleat in or strong enough to twist it out. I know I can loosen at the pedal to make this easier, but I like it nice and tight for when I ride and don't want to make continual adjustments. For the first few rides I just put on my running shoes installed/uninstalled them manually. Now I squeeze them on with my hand (need a strong grip) and use a 15" 2x4 to take them off. The 2x4 fits in pretty nicely at my son's shoe size, so works very well. I actually think they should make a wrench that fits the slots at the top of these to make it easier to take them out, but the 2x4 works for now.All in all they do what they are supposed to, and now that I've figured out how to easily install and uninstall them that isn't a problem.
