Superior Clear Epoxy Resin Commercial Grade for General Use No VOC Self Leveling Non-Flammable 1 Gallon Kit 1:1

I have used several types of resin. This is my favorite so far. It cures hard, few bubbles, and the smell is minimal-even after torching. I have had a difficult time finding a resin that cures hard enough when using molds-especially molds that are smaller and use less resin. I have no trouble with this one. I used a resin before this one that cured hard but the bubbles drove me crazy. I make river boards and other things. I don't have time to clean up messes caused by bubbles. I seal my wood with resin, and then I make the rivers by putting the resin part A in hot water for 5 minutes, mix with B and go to work pouring in layers. Success!I also test for a good resin by using a mold I bought on Amazin that has hearts, a key, etc. It is shallow and rather flexible mold. I used this resin and there is no bend in the heart or the key! The key is rather fragile, and I have always had bend in it. Not this time.The only thing I can say that is a possible negative, is that I noticed some smell after torching. I highly recommend this resin.

Very little smell. Mixed and used hole gallon. Using it for a reptile enclosure. Very pleased with results. I used a scale at first to test the 1 to1 mix then mixed 20ounces at a time after that. Used one 4 inch roller and one brush for the full gallon. Perfect work time. Will and have purchased more. No regrets or complaints about product.

I bought this because another company was out of the stuff I bought previously. I'm so happy I did. Both bottles came packaged together and it was all secured. They were crystal clear and I was happy the containers still fit in the plastic container I used to store my other stuff. I mixed equal amounts and stirred for 4 minutes setting a timer on my phone. I have mixed glitter and mica so far and the glitter doesn't float which is good. The best part is, there is NO FOUL SMELL - yes I always wear my mask but taking it off to exit the room or to check on the pieces quick and no smell. This resin is very easy to use. After curing its rock hard. With other brand casting resins ive been able to warp them with 1 hand even months after they cured. For this resin you need to make at least 40ml at minimum. So 20A and 20B. You really need to mix these thoroughly. I mix for 10 minutes. Sticking to these steps ive had 100% of my items cure correctly and hard. The resin does start curing quickly. Id say 25 min work time after mixing so have everything ready. Bubbles are unavoidable. So i pour in a little resin take my heat gun to it, pour more,heat gun etc till your mold is full. I use an embossing gun n not the heavy duty heat guns. You have to make sure you don't add too much heat or your resin and mold will be stuck together after curing. Ive had this happen twice but i did use too much heat in my small mold. I will continue buying this resin as its the most economical for me and i always have great results, plus it accepts all kinds of pigments and dyes. The bubbles is my only downside but you can only see them in transparent pours.

This product was finicky at first and we had some sticky results in our first couple projects because we learned after the fact that you have to stir this resin way longer than we had experienced before. But, once it is stirred very thoroughly it's amazing! It has the longest work time I've seen with resin so far and even after a hot water bath to jump start the curing, we could still work with the resin a while longer. The tray I made took roughly 45 minutes to mix the colors/glitters and then start pouring. We still had time afterward to make a coaster with the leftovers! And because it has a long work time it has time to let the bubbles rise for way less bubbles and clearer resin projects!I've bought this brand 3 times now and will continue to buy this one!

I purchased this epoxy resin kit for a woodworking project I was finishing. When mixed as directed, the resin is very workable and easy to pour for around 30-45 minutes at the consistency of pancake syrup. It did not work well for my project but only because I had too many cracks that allowed the product to leak through. This is not a fault of the product itself but rather a consequence of the type of wood I was working with. I was very pleased with the end result in the sections where the epoxy stayed in place. This is a quality epoxy resin at an affordable price and I would not hesitate to purcahse again for other projects.
