Fluval Digital LED Dual Lamp Timer, A3977

I have the Innovative Marine Nuvo Fusion 10 kit that includes the Skkye Light 18 watt LED. This timer works very well with this light. I have read many reviews that complain about the buttons used for programming. I had no issues with these. I would suggest anyone having issues to go to the Fluval web site and watch the instructional video. My one negative remark about this is that on a 24 volt system, ramping down to 1% for moonlight is still just a little bit brighter than what I would prefer. However, after a few nights, it appears that my livestock is adjusting to the slightly brighter night lighting. As to those complaining about the LEDs flashing during the ramp up and ramp down, check the voltage rating of your LED power supply. Note that this timer is rated for 12 to 24 volt DC. The LED flashing is a common issue if you try to send a lower voltage (say 24 volts) to an LED array rated for something higher (like 28 volts), I don't really know the science behind this, but I have experience similar issues when trying to power an LED array rated at 28 volts with a 24 volt power supply. I suspect it has something to do with impedance( resistance) in the LED array.***update 1-6-2018Timer is still working perfectly. now controlling 18 watt main LED fixture on channel A and 6 watt actinic supplemental.on channel B. I run the channel at 5% for moon lights..

If I could give no stars I would! I almost never write reviews, but this POS is unbelievable! I can't program it, because when I plug it in it just cycles through the settings without me even touching it. It tries to set its own settings and I have no control over it. It's posessed! I usually give things the benefit of the doubt and even if the reviews aren't fantastic, I might try anyway and usually I don't have the problems other have, but not this time! This this is horrid. The "buttons" aren't buttons. You can't press them. They are just bumps that you are supposed to touch or something. But I can't on mine because if you just sit and watch it, it goes through settings and changes the time constantly. I can't set it! Good luck! I already ordered the Fluval Fresh and Plant with the wifi module. Hopefully this works better!

Saw all the bad reviews. Took a chance anyway. I was not disappointed, works as described. I have 2 Aquasky Led lights, programmed controller to ramp up and down 15 minutes apart. This makes sunset and sunrise more gradual than both ramping up or down at the exact same time. Easy to program, when light is on, I still have control over what daylight effects I want. Clouds, storms and light color/temperature.Wish I could control what type of moonlight was activated at dusk. Can only get white moonlight, can't get blue moonlight after dusk.All in all the controller works very well. Haven't had any of the problems the other reviews mentioned.Would recommend to anyone with Aquasky Led lights.

The A3977 Digital LED Dual Lamp timer is a great timer for my 75 gallon planted tank. Operating the device is simple, just like operating a candy bar Nokia phone. Although I have read the reviews here that stated the buttons were hard to press, but I believe this is the newer version whereby the buttons are easy to press. Lights will dim out during sunset Fade mode in steps (percentage). If your lights supports dimming this will be superb! My Fluval AquaSky dim perfectly but my other light do not support dimming! My fish used to get a rude awakening whenever I switch on the the lights. Now they get a nice slow brightening effect.With AquaSky, the last brightness and color settings were remembered and when the light brightens up again in the morning, it will be the exact brightness and colors before the timer kicked it the previous night. Sweet!Price wise, it is cheaper to get this than getting two timer switches if you have two lights!Now for the not so good.There is no overwrite/bypass mode (well at least if there is I couldn't find it). If your timer is in after dark mode, and you want to turn on the lights, well, tough luck. I cannot find a bypass switch. The only way is to disconnect your light from the timer and bypass the timer manually to get your lights on again. And you will need to adjust your time again after that. It would have been 4 star if there is a built in bypass mode.Also, there is no mounting of any kind on the timer. I am simply letting it hang by the wire cable of the lights. Some form of (suction cup) mountings or double sided velcro tape will be perfect! A small build-in battery to retain the time will be neat so you do not have to adjust the time on the timer every time you disconnect it.

Great product, after 2 months of daily utilization, I can say its expensive but it works ! I have a fluval flex 15gal. you can setup in it the hours of sunrise and sunset and make the "switch" on/off, less aggressive with the option "fade". You can also setup if you want the moonlight during the night and how much intensity. PERFECT :)

Excelente ,mis peces disco estan felices con la lampara aquasky que tiene todos los colores del espectro,y que puedo porogramar desde mi celular con la funcion fluval smart. Con este temporizador que es muy facil de usar ya pude programar su amanecer su atardecer y efectos denublado a determinadas hora del dia y asi aunque llegue a salir estoy tranquila ,ya que la lampara se prende y apaga sola. Lo recomiendo ampliamente

Fantastic simple controller for my two internet led lights allows you to set on and off for each, fade, moon percentage (eg 0 or 5%) for the off cycle. Simple to setup. Can’t give long term review yet but immediate impression is perfection

2 separate Kanälen, jedes Kanal eigenes Timer mit Fader Funktion, leider kann man nicht die Höchstleistung wählen sondern wird immer bis auf 100% aufgeleuchtet (beim SERA kann man die max. Leistung wählen zB. 80%), aber bei den Preis kann man nicht meckern, da bekommt man so zu sagen vergleichsweise 2 SERA's.Beide Kanälen haben ein eigenständiges Nachtfunktion, die auch abgeschaltet werden kann wenn Leuchtkraft auf 0% gewählt wird, bei mir ein Kanal 1% und anderes 0%, das fehlt bei SERA ganz.

Funciona muy bien y es mi practico, siempre y cuando tu iluminación sea también de Fluval por qué si no tienes que hacer adaptaciones. Solo funciona para sistemas Leds y si tus leds no son dimeables pues pierdes el efecto de prender y apagar gradualmente. Yo los tengo con AquaSky y funcionan perfecto y conectarlo fue más que simple. El único detalle por el que le doy 4 estrellas es que no tiene una batería interna que le permita mantener la programación del horario por que cuando se va la luz se desprograma:
