The tank key we were given by our oxygen provider was plastic. It only lasted a week before it cracked. This metal one solved the issue. I also love the wire connector it comes with. Highly recommended!

This is a metal Oxygen tank key... it's heavy, but it's worth the "weight". When using the cheap plastic key that they give most patients for their oxygen tanks, you're lucky if they last a week, with regular use. This metal key not only does the job, but it also does it with authority. You don't want to trust your loved ones breathing ability to some cheap and flimsy piece of plastic. Pay the money, deal with how heavy duty it is and be thankful that this will not fall or break apart.

Very sturdy heavy duty metal. The only thing is no markings or arrows for “on” and “off” when turning the key on oxygen tanks. Other than that it’s great
