These cutting boards are beautiful. My first thought when I opened the box was that this set would make a perfect gift for anyone that enjoys cooking, but doesn't want a plain, cheap looking cutting board. They are much higher quality than you would expect for the price. Each board is true to the advertised size. They all have a hole so they can easily be hung up if desired. We keep them upright against the back splash of our counter top since they look nice and there's no need to hide them. As soon as I received them I put my plastic cutting boards away to make room for these.The tops and bottoms (where you cut) are nice and smooth, but around the edges and circle cut out there are some rough spots and chipping in the wood. Nothing excessive, but more than I'd prefer. I have cut quite a few different fruits and vegetables (strawberries, tomatoes, avocado, etc) on the boards and so far there is no staining. The boards are easy to wash by hand though it would be nice if they could go in the dishwasher. Bottom line, this is a great cutting board set and I definitely recommend it.I received this item in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts are my own and have not been influenced.

This would've been a great purchase at an amazing price was it not for the fact that the description's measurement for the largest board was WAY off - instead of 19" x 15", it was 9" x 15"! Quite a difference - so I sent them back.Other reviewers noted that the boards needed to be sanded around the edges and the holes, and I could see that would be a good idea - but I wouldn't have minded if they had been what I thought I ordered.

:::::I was really anticipating receiving these cutting boards. With the three various sizes, I thought they would be handy to have at home and for use in our RV also. I must say though that I am greatly disappointed in the quality of the boards. All of my boards have rough edges, split wood and some sort of matter stuck on them that I can't really identify. It won't wash off. Please see the pictures I have attached to this review for the actual problems I have just described.I had planned to use these for food preparation but since they have splinters on them and the wood is cracked in so many different areas, there are too many places for bacteria to hide so they would have been unhygienic. They are not sealed, just raw wood. Since they are so damaged there really isn't an effective way for me to seal them myself. So I had to think of different uses for them. They are great to do crafts on, let the kids use them as lapboards while coloring or playing with Legos, use as a cutting board while sewing and many more ideas that we haven't tried yet have popped into my head.What I have ended up using them the most for is a background when I take photographs of small things. Wood makes a very lovely background accent for virtually anything. Having three sizes gives me options. I have even used one as a base and propped up the other two behind it as a backdrop per say. Even though they are not serving their original purpose I was able to find a use for them. Now I just need to go back to finding my husband some new cutting boards!'How many times have we all bought something only to find it didn’t live up to our expectations or the advertised description and think to ourselves, “I wish someone would have told me that!” Likewise, everyone likes to find a great deal and a quality product. These are okay. They are sturdy cutting boards, but they almost don't seem finished. I got a splinter the first day of getting them out of the package. I received these for a discount in exchange for my review.
