Damage Control Mouthguard: Tough Protection
I recently tried the Damage Control Extreme Impact Mouthguard for my boxing and BJJ training, and it’s been a reliable addition to my gear. The boil-and-bite molding process was straightforward—after a couple of tries, it fit snugly, locking onto my teeth without feeling bulky. The 4mm thickness and Damprotech material provide excellent shock absorption; I’ve taken a few hits during sparring, and my teeth and jaw felt well-protected. The reinforcement pads add extra confidence, especially for high-impact sports.

Warped and melted when following instructions
It's too thin, the ones with an inner and outer layer hold up and form better. You have to be super careful when forming this. The $7 Shock Doctor mouthpiece is honestly better than this, so I would just recommend that one. If the outside and inside are two different colors then it has more than one layer and is more durable. I tried to get this so I would have an extra, in case my mouthpiece drops and they need to give me another one in the corner in the middle of the round... then I'd have it. This mouthguard may work for some people, it did not work for me. I've been forming mouthguards for years, I know how to do it. The problem with this is the fit wasn't perfect so I kept trying to form it and reform it and it just twisted over itself and how hot it was really hurt my teeth. I haven't had that experience with literally any other mouthpiece, including the clear cheap ones.

Thin - good quality
These are nice.Thin - if you want that.I bought these cause I needed next day but I would recommend going to their website instead and getting the next level up. personally, I like the way those feel better.They're a little thicker and I trust em more.

Buy it, worth it
Best mouth piece I’ve ever owned, super comfortable, I’m a smaller dude and after molding it fits perfect, cheaper than the crap ones at Walmart and protects well.

Tricky to mold to the teeth
The process of molding it to the mouth was difficult. My son put it in the hot water, it floated so he poked it down, then the back teeth of it kind of curled in so it was out of shape, so he pulled it out and put it in his mouth, which was too hot and he panicked, gargling "it's sticking to my teeth!" and then he put it in cold water and then tried the whole prcess again. Basically, it isn't staying in his mouth and he can't speak clearly while it's in because the first process was not right.
