Paper MateBallpoint Pens, Write Bros. Black Ink Pens, Medium Point (1.0mm), 60 Count

I asked someone to borrow a pen and they handed me one of these. I immediately fell in love with it, ok, maybe a little dramatic, but seriously it was so smooth and comfortable in the hand. My only complaint, which I can totally live with is sometimes the caps slip off the end. Anyway, back to my first time using the borrowed pen. They let me use it, my husband also needed to write something, he used it and then he handed it back. I was still thinking about how good the pen was and ended up walking back and asking the person we had borrowed it from, I think we were at at Target customer service desk, if I could take a picture of the pen so I could buy some. So, I came to Amazon and bought the smallest size they sold (60 pens) and I'm not mad about it. I use these daily and love them still. Great heavy 1.0 line, but not gloopy and doesn't smear. The lid thing, as long as you jam the cap on the back of it, it doesn't fly off, but if you don't then yeah if you gesture with your pen at all in meetings, the cap will fly.

I love using these pens for everyday writing! They are incredibly reliable, always ready to write smoothly without skipping. The grip is comfortable, making them easy to hold for long periods, and the best part is that they are affordable without compromising on quality. A great choice for anyone who needs a dependable pen!

Inexpensive, easy to use

There are two main things I didn't like about these pens. One, this was my third purchase of something I supposedly had purchased twice before. Only this third purchase was very different from the first two?! How can the seller claim I am buying the same pen when the barrel and the ink are different?? At that point the seller should say, "We have discontinued the pens you were buying, but you might want to try our new cheap little pens instead." The first two orders had regular ink in a hard plastic barrel. The newest order was a gel ink in softer cheaper barrel.Secondly, many of the pens do not work at all. Some work well for a short time, but then run out of ink quickly, or the ink comes out too fast and gets blobby. The barrels are so soft and cheap that sometimes the cap will not stay in place after a few uses. The old Papermate pens were inexpensive, but a joy to use and not cheap. The new Papermate pens are frustrating and annoying because they are cheap cheap cheap.
