Wigwam S9012 Super 60 6-Pack Tube Sock

I've been wearing Wigwam Socks for about six years now. They have always bean a great fit and feel. Until my latest shipment. They are now half as thick as they used to be and no longer have the same stretch to stay up over the calves all day long. They now feel no different than the terrible Hanes socks I replaced them with all those years ago. Just raise the damn price if they are costing more to make. Now I have to go I search of a new sock brand all over again. FYI - I purchased a pack of the low ankle socks at the same time. Exact same issue. If the didn't say Wigwam on them, I wouldn't believe it. I would no longer suggest these to anyone.

The first time I put these socks on I was in love. Super tall, sturdy, rugged but soft. I thought I had finally found the sock for me. The second time I put the socks on proved that that was not true. Just one or two times of wearing the socks and the band that's supposed to hold them up on your calf loosens up so much that they collapse and fall around your ankle. These things go up to almost your knee but by the end of a 12-hour shift there underneath your heel. Do not buy. Garbage

Love these socks! I bought a package for my husband, then ordered another for myself. My husband likes long socks to wear in his boots for work and hunting. All the other long socks I've bought in the past 30 years are cheap, shrink, thin, don't stay up, and wear out quickly. These Wigwam socks are absolutely the best quality we've ever owned. If you want a good old fashioned tube sock that stays up, thicker than the other brands and makes a perfect work sock, or, like myself, a sock to keep a cold blooded girl warm, then buy these!

My husband absolutely loves the Wigwam tall socks! He wears steel toed Red Wing lace up boots every day for work so they get a beating, but he also wears them doing yard work, gardening and working in his shop. They hold up really well and the elastic is great! So thick and comfortable. He got his dad a pack of the same socks that he gets last year and now he can't stop bragging on them! He is happy when we give him a pack at family holiday get togethers. We used to have them on my Subscribe and Save, but that stopped for some reason. At least I can still buy them from Amazon. The manufacturer emailed me through Amazon for a review on the Wigwam socks; here it is and it's all good! Thank you!

this product was a first time disappointment for a tried and true wigwam sock. the material is thin and flimsy. the elastic is weak and puckers after normal wear. these socks have deteriorated in quality after only a few months of wear. there are older wigwam socks that are in better condition and still more sturdy than this line of socks. each purchase that has been made in the past of wigwam has always been done with confidence and satisfaction. maybe this was just a batch of bad socks but it sure leaves a negative impression for the wigwam brand. just to test the brand an order was placed for the old supplier of wigwam in the past.

I haven't had these long enough to tell about the quality (although they have thick soles so that will probably hold up okay) but these socks are downright skinny! They squeeze my poor old hubby's skinny calves to the point where he has to fold them down about midway for them to be comfortable.ETA: He recently switched jobs and is on his feet a lot more so has built up more muscle in his calves and now can't even wear these socks. Mind, he's an aging guy and his calves aren't anywhere near large but he can't even wear them now.

I love these socks, I've been wearing them for over 6-7 years daily. These are the only true "over the calf" sock that I have found that doesn't get stretched out and thin. On that note, the last couple of packs that I have bought doesn't seem to be as thick and as high quality as they use to be... PLUS the price keeps on going up and down!!! I've paid as low as $17.72 to 23.22. Just last January of 2018 for $18.72, now this order just 14 months later, the price was the highest yet....$25!!

This is the third time I have purchased these socks. I have worn the first 6 pack purchase to the point where the socks are too thin to give any coverage in some areas, I bought them in 2016. The second 6 pack purchase was in 2017. The second purchase has in the last 5 or 6 months started getting loose at the top, I have worn them and the older socks just about every day. I have never had sock that lasted this long or stayed up as well.Now to my latest purchase that I received 3/18/2021. The Wigwam name is not on every other sock any more. They seem thinner than the older socks, even thinner than the used older socks. I never had to stop during the day to pull up the other socks until I had used them for a few years. Thursday 4/1/2021 I was so excited to use my new Wigwam socks, they felt great putting them on, even with the noticeably thinner feel. I got to work put on my rubber boots and went to work. I had to stop twice during the day to take my boots off and pull up the socks. I know this sounds dramatic, but I was shocked that I had to stop and pull up a pair of new Wigwam socks, I hate it when my socks fall down. I hope it was a fluke and not indicative of the new quality. I would hate to go searching for a different brand. I haven't given up yet. I love purchasing products that say "Made In The US", I don't expect chinese brand lack of quality though.

Quintessential Made in the USA tube sock.Been wearing them since the 80s and can't mess with all that other crap out there like American Apparel and anything from a big box store.

it is hard to find tube socks any more so I was very pleased to find these
