Great Xmas gift for new baker.

For years we've used our two AirBake cookie sheets to bake many, many cookies. However, the trays we had needed to be replaced due to our own misuse: warped pans and baked on oil.Here are my suggestions to get a long and happy life out of your new pans.WARPED PANS: We don't have a toaster (odd, I know). So we use the broiler setting on our oven (wasteful, I know). We used these pans to set our toast, bagels, etc on them under the broiler. Unfortunately, the intensity of the heat warped the pans. Our bad. Now we use other pans for this purpose and only use our cookie sheets for their intended purpose. So far so good. If this ever changes, I'll update this review.COOKED ON OIL: For years, we would spray our cookie sheets with cooking spray to make the cookies lift off easier. While we thought it helped, it really wasn't necessary. All it did was bake onto the pans, which of course would not wash off (it was baked on) and made the pans an amber color. While this didn't diminish the cooking quality, it did make them ugly. With our new pans, we don't use any cooking spray and just rely on the butter already in the cookies. So far so good. If this ever changes, I'll update this review.Lastly, we bought the larger size (16x14) and just love the extra room to place extra cookie dough for even more cookies. Yeah for AirBake!

I used this product today and it works VERY WELL! The quality is great and I made crackers and they name out perfect! Cleanup was easy as can be and nothing stuck to the baking sheet. I really think we have become programmed to use sprays or something to always protect things like this, but honestly nothing stuck. The recipe contained a bit of olive oil and it was clear that it just kept things from sticking. I would recommend this baking sheet to ANYONE! It is nice to see that something is still made well these days.

These are great! My oven runs very hot (need a new one), and I used to burn everything! That is until I started using these! Now the bottom of my cookies are not burned to a crisp. The only problem I had was removing the label that is glued on when you first get it. Very hard to remove, and after almost a year of use there is still some glue on there (probably no healthy)

I love to bake and during the holidays I look like Casper The Ghost. Flour everywhere! Silliness aside, these are wonderful pans. Every cookie I bake on these pans, from delicate macaroons to chocolate chip & a dozen more, come out beautifully browned. I gave all my old pans to a neighbor for her garage sale as these are all I'll ever need or use. It's so nice to buy a product that not only exceeds your expectations, they are better than the manufacturer says. I have always used parchment paper & recently tried the silicon mats instead. A perfect combination.Do hand wash the pans & DON'T soak them. They aren't waterproof. The manufacturer says they are dishwasher proof.........but .......I'd rather not chance it. They don't need harsh scrubbing, just a rinse & wipe with a mild detergent. If, as some users have reported, they eventually become discolored and it bothers me....I'll just buy new ones. A fine quality pan that just happens to be inexpensive. They also are a nice gift for under $20.00.

I already have two of these and love them. This one is bigger than my others. It holds a lot of cookies and bakes them without browning the bottoms and edges too much. The cookies come off easily.

Research are advertised as the Airbake pure aluminum baking sheets, but they are not. They are sending you the Farberware Golden coated baking sheets. These sheets are inferior as they contain the coating on them that once scratched leaches into your food.
