When my son, and his family from New York visit us here on the lake in Virginia, he practically lives on our dock. In fact, once he slept all night in our deck boat on the lift. I've seen him have as many as four fishing rods with lines in the water at once. His mom keeps flour and lemons in the dock refrigerator because sometimes he will cook and eat a fish that he just caught. We needed to get a second tiny refrigerator for the bait. He and his two boys have caught perch, bass, sunfish and lake striper from our dock.I just tested the Lucky Portable Sonar Fish Finder on the dock and found the color graphic display outstanding. It was easy to use while it mapped the lake bottom with accurate depth readings, brush pile locations, and fish. So even after fishing off our dock for 16 years now, my son and his boys will now have a great new tool to add to the joy of visiting grandma and grandpa on the lake.I almost purchased a fish finder that worked with cellphones, but then I realized it was not a good idea to put an expensive cellphone in harms way. This Lucky Portable Fish Finder has a lanyard, is rugged, waterproof, and inexpensive whereas, my son's cellphone is none of those things.

Seems to be accurate. Just wish they would state bobber is water activated.

This product is exactly as advertised. The fish finder is perfect for providing depth information and temperature. I use this behind my kayak as I fish and as long as I'm not actively paddling or paddling slow it provides great readings. When the receiver dips under the water the signal is lost but restores once it surfaces again. Great purchase for the price!

Arrived promptly, fairly easy to set up and follow instructions. However, there were no instructions on how to attach the wrist attachment. Finally figured it out but directions might have helped. Also, I didn't use a strong enough line and when thrown out it broke off. But, it works well seeing the fish!

What I was looking for was something that was portable, less expensive and simple that would give me the depth and temperature of varies areas on the large lake I live on. I also have a Geo-Thermal loop system heating my house that was installed 15 years ago. Questions are now being asked about the slope of the lake and is it effecting the Geo-Thermal system. This is so simple to just go out with a fishing pole and the sonar unit and map the floor of the lake. Plus our grandkid's seem to want to swim in strange places and it is so simple to just cast the line and measure the depth. Yes I have a depth gauge on my boat but is isn't easy to maneuver our pontoon boat in some areas to use it.

Actually works and is pretty precise

I really like it’s portability. I have a Vexlar for ice fishing as well. This is great for finding depths and structure quickly when looking for new spots. Drill the hole. Drop it in and see you depth and bottom structure quickly. I like the transducer shuts itself off when not in the water. I found the battery life is good too. Good product. Very happy I tried it out.

Works like it advertised

I'm satisfied, wit this fish sonar, very nice, portable and very useful. Actually this is a gift for my brother, who living in Europe. We tried together. This is fantastic. Small and battery life is unbeatable. So I can recommend it with confidence.

Sowohl die Verpackung wie der Fischfinder selbst machen einen hochwertigen Eindruck.Nachdem ich den Fischfinder nun zweimal ausgiebig getestet habe,kann ich das Gerät nur jeden Angler empfehlen.Man bekommt mit dem Fischfinder ein sehr gutes Bild vom Gewässer.Der Verlauf des Grundes wird sehr gut dargestellt.Auch die Standplätze der Fische zeigt der Bildschirm sehr gut an.Dabei finde ich die Tiefenskala rechts auf dem Bildschirm besonders hilfreich.Durch die Kenntnis der Wassertiefe kann man gezielt angeln und es erklärt viele vergebliche Angelversuche,weil man an den falschen Stellen geangelt hat.Durch den Fischfinder kann man sich schon vor dem Angeln ein Bild vom Gewässer machen.Von mir eine klare Empfehlung.
