Easy to read

Listing says the tag is engraved, though it looks painted. It appears that PERHAPS they might have laser engraved it underneath the printed text, though It is too hard to tell. I will update if any of the paint wears off, and if there is an engraving underneath (or just a blank tag) when/if that does happen.I originally put 1 star, however after noticing a slight shine on the edge of the letters which may indicate a laser engraving underneath the painted text, I will give this product the benefit of the doubt until something happens causing me to change this review.I messaged the seller and they responded with the following:"they are engraved with a laser we do not paint anything our Technique is the laser removes layers of the metal in the customization that you ordered. I'm so sorry you got confused when you saw your tag but we do not falsely advertise anything."and "No problem we acknowledge that they don't look like regular engraved "tags" Hope you have a wonderful day"So I suspect that they are indeed genuinely laser-engraved, under what appears to be a stamped/embossed/painted/whatever text (if it is even painted over, it feels like it is but the seller response suggested otherwise, so idk) .I suspect all of the other bad reviews (at least the ones that only complain about it not being engraved) were just people who were mistaken like I was. However I did see reviews about things not being spelled correctly for some people, so take that as you will. My product however, arrived looking perfect, and I will keep the 5 star rating as is.5 stars for now, because it looks great and they didn't mess up the spelling like a few other reviews complained about.I will update if something happens to it, such as the text wearing off, the gold wearing off, etc. Until then, everything is perfect.

Love these tags. I got my first tag from this company about 3 years ago. I only have one other tag I put with it for my dog, being in rural Alaska, and i put his tags back to back to protect engraving on both… I just ordered 2 new ones only because my phone number changed, otherwise I wouldn’t have needed to order new ones.They’re super thick stainless steel. And I know they’re stainless because these tags never rust in salt water when he swims. The split ring will rust but not the tag.Well worth the money in my opinion!
