boAt Airdopes 281 Truly Wireless Bluetooth in Ear Earbuds with Mic (Active Black)

So i'm writing this review after 7 days of use after the usage of the airdopes. So i was looksingt for true wireless buds from a very long time in budget of 2k and and i do not trust other brands like real me redmi or any other brand in this budget in earphones since i'm using boat products from a very long time and thr quality and durability of every item is very good and also the service . so here is my honest review for this particular product.1. Sound quality-i will give 5 stars2.bass quality -5 stars the bass is superb3.built quality-4.5 stars too light in weight and get fit in ears very well4.call quality-2.5 stars being honest these earpods are not for calling person there is no feature such as noise cancellation the other person will be able to hear every disturbance in your background and also you have to speak loudly and on bike while riding it is not at all possible for the other person to hear you even if you are riding at the speed of 20km/h , however you can talk on call in car while gyming running everywhere the call quality is very good from the other end but the other person won't be able to hear you properly in noiseOver all 4 stars

Too Long Didn't Read : It's good but it could be better in the physical features.Disclaimer : This is my first Truly Wireless Earphone so I won't be giving any stars or marks to any feature, only my opinion. I can't give any ratings because there is nothing to compare it to.I was really hyped to receive these earphones because I've been wanting a Truly Wireless Earphone for a few months now and this seems like a good entry level one. The rest of the review will go into detail on the various features.<strong>The Charging Case</strong> : The included charging case charges by USB-C ( the cable for which is included with the product, you will have to get a adapter for it ). It is light and small enough to fit in a pocket. It can hold a good amount of charge to last a day. Keep the box for charging when you go to sleep and you should be good for the next day.<strong>The Earphones Themselves</strong> : They sound good but not the best build quality. It is made of plastic but feels fine. If you take care of them and don't drop it too much, you should be fine. Many people say that it hurts when you put them on for a long time, and I have experienced this. For some reason they feel fine when you one use one at a time. But anyway, if you use them for a month or so your ears will get used to it. If you look at the photos you will see that the end of the earphones are shaped in a bulbous way. Since we have only used normal earphones that aren't like this it's normal to feel slight pain. It looks really good and the buds are adequate quality.<strong>Bluetooth Functionality</strong> : This should be common sense, but just because the earphones support Bluetooth 5 and your phone or tablet dosent, it won't make it sound better. It has the normal lag while playing music and watching videos but it's not too bad. Playing games is out of the question, don't use Bluetooth gear to play games. It can work within a distance of 8-10 meters which is adequate.<strong>Touch Response System</strong> : I don't know what boAt calls it but the earphones have touch responsive system on their sides. I've seen many people say they press it accidentally, I can't agree with it. That has only happened to me once, when i first got it, and I learnt to hold it without accidentally touching it. Unless you have arthritis you should be good. I actually have troubles pressing it when i need to because they are placed right in the middle ( refer to the photos ) where the boAt symbol is and can be hard to find but you will get used to it.So that's it. It's not the <strong>BEST</strong> earphone, but what did you expect for 2000 Rs. If you have a budget of 4k to 5k don't settle for a cheap one and buy this. There are better ones in the market, boAt and others like Noise. But if you're like and me and just want to use earphones without wires for cheap, I would recommend this. Personally I like using one at a time since it feels nice, I can hear things outside if need be, and I like it.

I brought the Airdopes 281 around feb 2021, it had good sound quality and I really the way it fits in ear. But after few months one ear piece start having issues like it won't connect to phone and won't charge as fast as other or charge would drain faster etc. Then on September 2021 the right ear piece stopped working. Since BoAt product have warranty, I claimed for it in the company website. After testing they informed me that the product would replaced but as the model is unavailable they gave me 2 other options to choose. Even though those 2 options weren't good, I replied to to their mail the very day stating my choose. Then after 2 days they send me a mail saying the product of my choice isn't available and gave me other two options. This happened 3 times. 2 week passed and they still haven't provided me a replacement. Every time they provide me with options that has less features and lesser prices than the original product. Now all Im hoping is them providing something. I don't think they would though.BoAt replacement/repair warranty is laughable and not dependable. This 2nd boat product I'm having a issue. Now I'm convinced that Boat product dont worth the hype or money. They have poor customer service. I would never advise someone to get boat product.

Other person can't hear the voice while on call

Pros :*Very good built quality (Both earbuds and case)*Earbuds are very comfortable,even with the default buds I was able to properly wear them*Good connectivityThe Bluetooth range is good with this product.*We can use one earbud only if we want.*The mic quality is very good,even with single earbud the opposite person was able hear me properly.*Adequate battery life and case chargers fasly*Touch controls are working fineCons :*The major con of this earbuds is the sound quality.I won't say this is the worst sounding earbuds but boat headsets are known for their rich bass and heavy sound.But this earbud lacks both.The volume is not upto the mark.Even with full volume we are not getting the volume of some wired headsets. And about the bass,this earbud doesn't have the term bass in it.This is completely a flat sounding earbud.Please note : The con which I have mentioned here can be solved by using an equaliser if you are ready to do so. (It works,bcz I'm doing it that way)Hope this was helpful. :)
