Works but eventually will fail. Still using string as in OEM. Should be a steel cable to last.

I have a Bosch dishwasher model # 65T55 UC where both door springs cords broke due to inferior plastic parts and qualty. Not sure why we pay all his extra money for Bosch products when they continue to use inferior qualty.After investigation i bought two Springs from Amazon for $22.00. Disconnected both broken springs and fitted the new ones. I must say the new springs were much higher qualty than the Bosch product. ( SEE OLD SPRING PICS) THERE WERE PLASTIC INSERTS IN THE BOSCH SPRINGS THAT CAN SNAP EASY AND BREAK OVER CONTINUAL OPENING AND CLOSING OF THE DISHWASHER DOOR.All in all very pleased with the replacement parts and higher qualty than the OEMs product. I would suggest if your looking to replace dishwasher door springs for your product look no further. Easy to assemble and works better closing door more effectively. Bosch please take note!!MM

Very good product. Easy to install-maybe 15 to 20 minutes tops. Exact fit. Even a novice can do this repair.

Bought for our Bosch model SHE65T52UC/02 which was installed on 12/12/13.The springs on our model were captured with two coils wrapped around a plastic tab open on the outside, which had broken off on one side of the dishwasher. Pretty bad engineering! Next to the broken plastic tab is a slot which either works for the redesign, or was preformed to be there for a repair?The metal that is pushed into the replacement spring slides into that slot. I found no reason to use a hammer to tap it into place, which other people have said they did. Once the other end of the cord is hooked onto the door bracket, stretch the spring with an appropriate tool to get enough slack to go around the two guides.The hardest part of this job for me, being 73, and with a knee needing replacement, was moving around on my back and knees to access the area, and guide the discharge hose, water feed hose, and electric as the washer was moved out of it's space. It had to come out about 2/3 of the way.The tools I used were a 5/8th wrench for the water feed line nut, a 17 mm wrench to raise the leveling feet, a #2 Phillips, and a o ring hook tool to stretch the spring. I would give this job a difficulty rating of a 3 out of 10. Disclaimer, I do have a long history of fixing stuff.

Spring broke on Bosch dishwasher door causing it to become heavy when closing. Spring was easy to install and door is now fixed. Hardest part was removing dishwasher from under counter. My husband also watched a You Tube video explaining how to install the set of springs.

These installed so easily, and what's more this part has been redesigned from the original part (which was clearly prone to failure) and installs into existing "notches" in the base of the DW. Door works perfectly now, after original spring/pulley assembly failed and snapped not all that long after purchase. I recommend looking up installation of these parts via internet videos and your life (and the installation) will be infinitely easier. The hardest part of this repair will be the removal and re-installation of the dishwasher itself.Excellent part, fast delivery.

Product was better made than original part. Graphic instructions were included. I was able to install in 30 mins.
