So happy I got this for my cat, he loves it! Such a great product for your cat to eat slower. Very affordable as well!

We have an anxious cat. We suspect she was taken from her mother at a very young age. When she became ours (shelter kitties rock), she was very skittish, afraid of the dark, and distrusting of the hooms. In the three years since, she has become the sweetest, most affectionate little creature. Still not super fond of the dark, still not interested in strangers, but she's realized we're her family. The only habit left of that scared little shelter cat is the licking.It's obsessive. She licks our hands and pets herself with them for hours. It's relentless. There were times I thought that rough little tongue was probably going to leave sores. She overgrooms on occasion, more when she is stressed. The licki-mat has helped to put a stop to all of that.We're currently using it with crumbled up dry treats and getting great results, but I think the results might be even better if we begin feeding her daily serving of wet food via the mat. My main concern with that is that she might not be determined enough to unearth the morsels, but I think I'll try it tonight and see how it goes. 10/10 recommend. After a licki-mat session she is ready to curl up between us and go right to sleep.

The finish on this makes it literally so easy to clean, just rinses right off, or if food has dried onto it, a 3-minute water soak and it rinses right off. I bought Casper and it was way too small, my cats big tongue couldnt lick it out, so I got Felix and boy was it better. the big ridges slow her down so much but she can still get all the food out-- i wasted so much more food with Casper, and waste almost none now with Felix.**Update: hasn't puked literally a SINGLE time since getting this.**Pro tip: put this on an elevated feeder (5ish inches offthe ground) and you will never have a pukey cat again

just what I needed for my high energy kitten i make a lick may and throw it in the freezer for bed time. Though she doesn’t fall asleep right after like I thought it would tire her out it keeps her busy long enough for me to fall asleep and she lovesss them. I usually use a gravy based wet food and throw some treats on it before filling the rest with water pop it in the freezer for 20 minutes and it’s ready. It’s also a large size perfect for high energy kittys that you just need to keep busy sometimes 😅

Definitely eats slower, but leaves to much food in the crevasses. And easy to move and flip over for my cat.

This mat did its just perfectly. I have a cat that will scarf down food and occasionally vomit because of his speed. This slowed him down to a point that even my super slow eater finished before him while using a regular bowl! After he decided he was finished my other cat came right over and finished up the rest for him, taking his time to explore the mat. I am very happy both my cats enjoyed this purchase. The only thing I was disappointed about what that I was looking at the other lickimat available, but must've accidently clicked this one somehow. Thats my bad haha. I would recommend this mat though. Next feeding I'll also be placing a larger mat underneath as my brute made a little bit of a mess pushing his food around haha.

So my female cat makes it her goal in life to inhale her food at the speed of light. I have tried different techniques to try and avoid her weekly regurgitation by giving her smaller portions throughout the day and it had been working at first, but recently she just can’t find self control to slow down hahah. So I started looking into slow feeders. I’m a raw feeder so I needed something that wasn’t just designed for kibble. Could not be happier, it’s been a week and she has not vomited once! Super easy to clean and I love this design because it’s easy to spread the food out. Highly recommend if you are dealing with a cat that scarfs down their food and can’t keep their food down.

UPDATE: My kitten chewed this just like all the photos in the reviews. It's ruined! So I won't be buying another, at least not made from this floppy silicone material. They say to supervise your cat with this, but the whole idea is to keep them occupied, and who has time to watch their cat licking a rubber fish for 25 minutes? So far the best interactive feeder I've found is the Trixie 5 in 1 which is solid and a great investment. Wish there were more products like that of hard plastic.Old review below:This is a GREAT product to keep cats occupied for a long time! I bought the Likimat Casper for my older kitten and adult cats. It is flat and floppy. It doesn't take a lot of food to fill in the grooves, so I can give them a small snack without worrying about overfeeding. Smoother foods like yogurt, baby food and Churu pops work best, but any kind of soft food will work. Even broth! I smashed some salmon on it and they had a great time getting all the pieces out. Very easy to clean with some warm water spray, followed by a soapy sponge. No issues with chewing fortunately. I plan to get at least one more of these - everyone with a cat should have one!
