Gold's Gym XRS 20 Olympic Workout Rack

Perfect size for my basement and for me. Sturdy and love that I can move my bench under it as well. Pretty easy to put together too.

The problem with this is that the parts are not designed to fit together very well. It makes it very hard to fit together. Holes just don't line up right on each piece and by the time you are done assembling it, it overall will feel sturdy other than the fact that it worbles from side to side because the bottom pieces don't fit together quite right.

After assembly the rack, which was fairly easy, I realized that both main poles were not square vertical, especially the one in the right. That one looks pretty much like the famous Italian Tower of Pisa. Since I will not be putting to much weight on it, I decided not to return it, so I don't have to go thru that not so pleasant process. I need to point out that there is no way you can wrongfully assembly it, since there are only one main screw per pole, so no chance to "screw" it. I wish they were perfectly vertical as they were supposed to, but that is not the case. For the time being I'll use it, until I find a better one. If it was more expensive, I will definitely return it, but for $116.00. I guess that's what you get with Gold's Gym, and apparently, for them, not everything that shines... it's "Gold".

Really useful that disk plate holders are part of the rack.

The rack doesn't have the proper cross support for the bar holds and they sway way past 15 degrees in both directions.
