5HTP helps send you to sleep but best used in combination.
I already take 5HTP to help send me off to sleep and it works. However, I bought these because they are good value as they have the added benefit of lemon balm which contains rosmarinic acid that helps prevent the breakdown of GABA the brain's neurotransmitter helping you feel calm and relaxed. Some sleep preparations also contain L-theanine that helps suppress the stress hormone cortisol a few hours into sleep, while it does not send you to sleep it does help you sleep better and longer. Magnesium and multi B vitamins are also included as they help the nervous system function correctly. I have found this an effective combination for a good night’s sleep as it clears your head and helps you feel relaxed, and if you wake up for a call of nature it helps send you back to sleep again.

Worked well
Me and my bf both took 1 for a few nights, worked really well for him great deep sleep but didn’t really do anything for me I was still going to bed around 4am.

Actually seems to work
I have been troubled with poor sleep for a number of years, mainly early waking, so I thought I would give this a try based on the positive reviews. I am very cynical about alternative medicines, as they have never been tested rigorously, and usually amount to little more than a placebo effect with the disclaimer "may help somebody with something". To my surprise, after a couple of nights taking these y sleep actually seemed to improve. I am still unable to manage 8 hours a night, but I seem to reliably get 6-7. As a comparison condition, I stopped taking them and went back to poor sleep almost immediately. I started taking them again, and sleep improved almost immediately .Certainly worth a try.

Fantastic ! These work amazingly well 5 🌟 WOW !
Easy to swallow & my Sleep Quality is now fantastic ! Seriously WOW ! I suffered from insomnia really bad & just after 3 days of taking these I've slept like a baby since ! I find these are best taken earlier in the evening depending on what time you go to bed . I take mine 8pm , . If I take one at 9 pm I'm sleeping into the next morning till lunchtime ! I've never slept so well ! Highly recommended absolutely. I will be ordering these again !!!

Best 5HTP supplements
These are the best 5HTP tablets I’ve purchased, I take them in the run up to my period to help with PMT and disturbed sleep. The lemon balm really helps with restlessness and they really help reduce anxiety and low mood. I don’t take them long term so can’t comment on what they’re like over many weeks / months continuously, but short term over a week or so they’re great, and I don’t feel like I have a ‘come down’ after stopping them

Promising... But
It's tricky writing a review about a personal experience but I'll try. I thought they worked almost immediately to help make me drowsy for sleep. I started on a half dose then worked up and started increasing to 3 times a day. I thought it was genuinely helping but my mood worsened in 2 weeks so had to stop. I'm sure some will say stick with it but post covid fatigue is brutal i didn't need something else making it worse. It's a shame i can't really blame the tablets I'll maybe try them again when I'm better. My guts were a bit sensitive and i had flatulence using these tablets - not something I'm going to miss.

Best 5-HTP I’ve had
Really like how this helps me sleep better and therefore improve mood. It’s not like other brands that knock you out, just feels natural. Awake feeling like you’ve slept. Other brands tried are the big names ( 🦢 and them like).
