Piece of junk
I had a single din naka I hi years ago and loved it. Thought I would try again. These reviews couldn’t ALL be right. They are. This thing should never have been released. When I plugged in either a usb stick or my phone, it shut down in under a minute. Two months after I bought it, the power went out for a day or two and then came back on. A month a ago it went out completely. I’m having it recycled so it doesn’t get back in circulation. What a stain on what should be an excellent name!

Good price but lots of issues
I've used this stereo for over a year now and am a little let down with this "Nakamichi" receiver. It's definitely not what I used to see for that brand. There are some positive things I can say. First, the 4v outputs drive my amplifiers very well and have very little clipping even at full volume. The display is ok and having a variety of media types to select from is nice. The remote works fairly well. I really like having the backup camera and the radio looks nice in my car. I seem to have engine noise from this head unit that I didn't have with my previous Pioneer head units. The subwoofer output is only one channel and is on or off with a fixed low pass at 80Hz which is a big let down. I had to use an RCA splitter. The eq has a lot of bands and sounds ok when switching through them but the low quality shows when adjusting single controls and hearing how much the response is overlapped. Junky eq. There's also an option for loudness but it isn't necessary. The radio has shut down a few times when starting the car but I have always been able to get it to turn back on. The USB port works well but one of my thumb drives doesn't work as well. It seems if you have a lot of folders on a thumb drive, the radio gets confused and won't step through them all. For me, that thumb drive will play up to the second folder and then switch sources unless I manually step to the third folder or beyond. The cd player works great but takes 10-30 seconds to start playing. Sometimes when playing YouTube music the audio will go silent and I have to reconnect my phone on the Bluetooth. I want to like the radio but it disappoints on many levels. The am and fm reception isn't great but it could be my glass-mounted factory antenna. I'm used to the quirks of the radio and hesitate to change it until it reaches a hard failure. I don't expect it to last though.

Be sure you open and inspect items when you receive them
Once I got my stereo I packed it away waiting for the next piece. Upon installation time I found the screen cracked.
