Great Book, but watch out for mistakes!
Bought the book for reference. It is a good book in terms of the content as it provides design examples and guidance based on the Eurocode. However, there are a lot of mistake and typo found in this edition of book. The reader should be cautious while reading it. In general, it is a useful reference for the design.

It covers everything BUT...
This a comprehensive book covering all aspects of EuroCode in relation to prestressed concrete with numerous practical examples which will find its place on many practicing bridge engineers. However my key criticism is the lack of any any practical guidance on laying out pre-stress strands in order to avoid stress discontinuity. Which is somewhat of a glaring omission given:a) The three figure price tag, and;b) Considering how much time is spent on the typical back-and-forth love triangle between the responsible consulting engineer; CAT II or III check team and the concrete precastersDespite the above rant, I still give it gets 4 stars given how the calculations are so rigorous, well laid out and thoroughly referenced.

prestressed concrete design to eurocode a must read book for both students and practicing engineers.
This is an excellent book. Encourage author to keep the pace also to add anchorage design in detail. Five star rating.
