Bullets are in bottom under cardboard.
Ive only just recieved this and i cant give full review yet but i will update this if any issues happen. I had to mention this as other reviews say there no bullets, i also thought this at first but luckily i checked under the cardboard on the bottom, its not clear and nerf needs to fix this as the instructions are also there. I had issues putting in batteries as its a tight fit it also didnt work at first but after filling the mag fully it worked. I also think it needs a bigger mag or it needs 2 because you use 6 bullets in seconds. Im hoping i can buy bigger mags or hopefully any mags im looking into it now plus im trying to find the attachments which isnt easy to find on amazon, ill keep searching.

Great fun
Bought for little brother and he loves it although he did lose all the bullets within an hour. Uses AA batteries that don’t come with it so be prepared. Good gun though.

Brilliant, well worth the buy for a Nerf fan.
The best Nerf I've purchased. My son had great fun with it.

Good for popping off a few darts - but it should have been better
So... if all you want is a semi automatic nerf blaster you can hold in one hand and plug away, this will do. It’s not much difference in cost to the spring loaded (ie pump action) Echo CS-10 and it’s an option better suited to smaller kids.Where the attachment points (rails, barrel lug, stock) allow, you can add or swap out other Nerf parts. This is where it starts to fall over, because the Elite 2.0 style looks totally different to the original elite and modulus series, so while you might still slot them in, they look pretty out of place. Expect wobbly barrel attachments that consistently have your darts drifting off one side or the other. The Elite 2.0 series have relatively few attachments and none you can get without purchasing whole blasters. And the scope being attached to this particular blaster is utterly bonkers. It’s too big, looking totally outsized for this blaster, and due to the rail positions it has to be too far forwards or too far back. Add to this that the mag included only has a six dart capacity, and your kid has just emptied it in seconds. It needed a 12 dart stick mag, these are easily found on Amazon and very affordable. To anybody who likes to add after-market parts such as Worker mods or other internal upgrade kits... ugh, forget it. Internals have glued joins and plastic springs which are awkward to get at without breaking them. There’s a few cosmetic kits by Blasterparts out there, but they’re made for the old Nerf Stryfe blaster and frankly look way better on it. Speaking of the Stryfe, this was the previous incarnation of this blaster and it was far better in size, balance, and customisation options. So, if you want a no frills basic blaster, this will do if the price isn’t too steep at the time, and get some 12 dart mags. If you want to do anything beyond that? Go find a second-hand Stryfe - sadly Amazon no longer sells the exclusive white Modulus version, which was a really good deal.

Eats battery
Great but eats battery. Cheap or expensive it doesn't care.

Very good
Looks really good with amazing packaging. Brought it as a Christmas gift for my little brother and he loves it. Fires nicely but not too hard that it was damage children.
