Does the job
It isn’t a heavy duty version but you know that. Functional? Yes. I use them to staple targets to OSB/plywood at the target range.They have an issue of walking away so I go with the most inexpensive but effective ones I can find.

You need to have strong hands....
I got this to pin up some bubble insulataion. It worked well but I had great difficulty pulling the trigger...made for hands stronger than mine... but works great if you have the strength. If I had been able to make it work with more ease I would give it a five

Fits in my Joann Fabrics medium duty stapler
Works with the stapler I got at Joann Fabrics. Staples fits perfectly. I have bought ones from hardware stores but it hadn’t worked. I’m glad I got to order the same brand I had gotten with the stapler at the time of purchase. Works great with my home projects. I’m in the middle of a reupholstery project and so far so good.

Very happy. Once I started using it
I am a bit too weak to use it on my own (someone needs to hold the object with material stretched over it) but this is normal. Went through wood, went through suitcase. Very happy. Once I started using it, I went through 200 provided staples in 3 days over two projects. I am very satisfied with the quality of this gun, I don't have big experience, but it does what I require, when staples came out on the other side in the suitcase, I could easily use scissors to bend them so nobody scratches themselves using this object. I am really satisfied.

A shame it’s so difficult to buy staples
The staple gun is well made and does what it’s supposed to do really well, unfortunately it only comes with a few staples and it seems the only way to get new is from North America, circa 1 month delivery

Tried to use to remove staples from a couch I was reapholstering, didn't work.
