Works well to slice up a frozen steak. I was able to make a fantastic Philly cheese. It is sturdy.

Acceptable meat slice. Easy use and clean

This is a well made slicer with all stainless steel polished to almost a mirror shine, which makes cleaning up easier. The thickness adjustment requires some patience. With my limited experience, I found it works the best with meat barely frozen. Besides frozen meet, I tried slicing some herbs and a lemon. It simple does not work with fresh fruits or anything soft. It just squeezes the juice out of the fruits instead of cutting. It works well with some herbs, but not all. Overall, I am happy with the slicer.

We bought this for slicing meat for jerky and it works great. Freezing the meat helps it cut even and keep its shape. we never knew something like this was available and would of bought one years ago. The blade is sharp and cuts with little effort. The construction is solid and well made. This is a good chopper and for the money you can not beat it. 5 STARS
