Can't live with out it! Got really bad migraines? THIS HELPS!
I suffer from terrible migraines (about 8 a month) and while this doesn't get RID of the migraines what it does is helps me COPE with them......WHat I do is rub the mygrastick on the pressure points where the migraine hurts (i.e.on the back of my neck where the pressure starts building, in the middle of my my temples and between my eyes and the cooling sensation really really helps to DISTRACT the pain away and makes me feel alive and alert. As many of you migraine sufferers know, you feel lethargic and you do NOT feel alert....when you are experiencing a miraine you also feel VERY NASSEOUS....this helps to abate those feelings....It makes me feel alert enough to continue my work or go on the bus to work or until I Can get to my medication...it actually wakes me up enough so I am coherent enough to do what I have to do.YET, if i take some before Igo to bed, its soothing sensation helps relax me enough so that I can go to sleep....without it, the pain is so great I can't concentrate on going to sleep....I order this stuff at least 8 at a time because I keep it in my purse, by my bed, in mywork bag, in my desk and on my person since it's been a natural Godsend and a great alternative to the many pills I've been prescribed.....You definitely should try it!

good stopgap soother for migraines
anyone who's had a migraine knows that no little dab of anything is going to make the pain and other symptoms go away. but i suffer from chronic migraine, meaning that i experience the symptoms at least 15 days per month. most days, the pain is not the shooting, excruciating pain that i had with migraine attacks when i was younger; it's intense and distracting, but i can't spend hours every day in bed trying to sleep off either medication or the attack itself. so i'm always looking for nonmedicinal ways to treat myself throughout the day to minimize the symptoms and their effects on my daily life. the best--for me, at least--is a good ice pack. but besides that, this is one of the best i've tried. if i can keep relatively still and unstressed and i apply a smear from this potent little roll-on, i can often get through the attack for hours before giving up the rest of my day. the smell is strong and soothing, and the feel is cold and smooth. i keep one in a little zipper pouch in my bag along with a few other soothers--some head-on, a little soother-inhaler, and my meds. migraine doesn't stop me nearly as much as it used to.

Surprising Relief
I've suffered from migraines with aura since I was 14 years old. I've been to several neurologists and tried everything from preventative tricyclic antidepressants (for preventing migraines) to traditional painkillers like Imitrex and zolmitriptan. Obviously the painkillers worked to an extent but I did not want to keep taking them every time I had a migraine, which was up to 2 times a week at the worst. I tried this at the recommendation of my aunt and could not believe the relief I got from this simple mixture of peppermint oil and essential oils. Obviously it does not remove the pain 100% but I've found it to be a great alternative. If I put it on my temples, it feels like it is cooling and drawing out the throbbing pain. It makes me less incapacitated when I am having a migraine, I can get out of bed and get myself some water or be able to drive to get home and rest. Would highly recommend even if you are skeptical of "natural" remedies as an alternative to painkillers! (In fact I wrote this during a migraine after the aura and blind spots went away!)

Great for taking the edge off a Migraine.
This works OK - not much different than any other essential oil products I've tried for migraines.Of course it doesn't get RID of your migraine but the blend of oils (very strong scent if you are scent sensitive - but the smell IS the point of the product!) but it certainly helps to take the edge off. If you've ever had a migraine- you know even the tiniest bit of relief is everything.I liked it most because it's tiny - VERY tiny, and very portable so its easy to slip in your purse or a pocket. But the down side could be the same - it's tiny, and doesn't last you long if you use it a lot.But its certainly helpful to diffuse some of the migraine effects and worth a try for some relief.

Great product for when you don't have an ice pack handy!
I love this! It may not eliminate the pain in my temple/jaw joint area, but it sure does feel good when I use it! The mint smell is wonderfully strong and helps me feel better and it rolls on cool and refreshing to distract me from the pain and take some of the edge off. It's really great for when you don't have an ice-pack handy. It may even make pain stop just a little bit sooner - it's hard for me to tell because I usually have a dull pain for a while and then every hour or so a sharp intensity pain comes along for 2 - 5 minutes. I use this when the pain starts to intensify. I bought a double pack right after getting my first one so I can keep one in my purse and one on each floor so I always have one handy. You just have to be careful not to rub your eyes if you get some on your fingers because it will sting briefly if you get it in your eye.

Love it love it can't live without it!!!
I was skeptical at first I have chronic migraines and when they hit they hit hard. Upon the onset of a migraine you apply light pressure and roll this on your temples then I do along the hair line and forehead. This eased up my migraine to the point to where it was almost gone totally. I didn't even have to take my migraine pill so this goes where ever I go its in my purse and I have one in my car I case I don't bring my purse. My daughter who is 14 also has migraines and she loves the stick even if hers is already bad it almost takes it away with out her having to use her prescription migraine med as well. They do last long and are cheaper on here then in the vitamin shops these are totally worth it and there is no certain amount of times you can apply it during a migraine you can use it as much as you feel you need.
