Hours of fun
I was gifted this console for Christmas and it was packed with tons of old/classic arcade and 8-bit games. 500 to be exact. I have to say, I had not heard of about 400 of them so it was a great surprise. The console itself is super cool and has an amazing picture quality for being on the smaller size. I have yet to use the controller with it but I like the "Gameboy" feel when playing. That being said, the only issue I have with this is that the game titles are crammed into 1 to 2 word descriptions, so unless you know exactly what the shorthand is, you have to guess at what game you are picking. On top of that, the games start on their own like the classic arcade style machines would do as a "preview", and it threw me off for the first 3-4 games. Here's a hint: Press the Start button lol.If they tossed in a a card with all of the games listed and directions/button controls (for each game), but if you don't care about that, then 5/5.All in all - a great console for killing time, if you have no internet connection, and/or if you love classic arcade games.

My past 9-year-old self is just BAFFLED
My son (now 9) had an Amazon gift card and decided to buy this because it said it had 500 games on it, and the price was right. You guys. It really does have 500 (classic) games, and it has them in their entirety, as far as I can tell. All the Super Mario Bros games. So much more. My past 9-year-old self is just BAFFLED by this. Less than 20 bucks, and you have all these games and the means to play them when it was probably close to $100 for just the system(s) alone back when they came out. Then, $20-30 for the games. He just plugs it into the TV, and it's just how I remember them. (From the 80s/90s.) No blowing on cartridges, though. That part is gone. The footprint is tiny. The only bummer is that it doesn't seem to save progress in the games, but nobody is really all that sad about it.

Very Nice Product with Excellent Customer Service
Bought it for my son for Christmas. He is a big gamer and I thought it would be fun for him to reminisce with some classic games. He loved it and it seems to work great. He told me that it works very well. Lots of retro games. All in all a good purchase! What I really liked is that I received a letter direct from the Amazon Seller, stating that they are a small new company and stand behind their products and if there are any issues to contact them directly - which I think is great. I hope they sell a lot of these - while having a good product is certainly important - things sometimes go wrong - and it says a lot if a company is willing to make things right.

Almost perfect!
This is a good gaming console for the price but it’s def not perfect. There’s no way to scroll to the game you want you just have to go through the entire menu over and over. Also I find it easy to hit the button to change the language. Battery lasts pretty well. Haven’t tried the tv hookup yet. My son loves it.

Honest review ! It's stellar.
I actually ordered this for my 9 year old nephew for Christmas not really knowing what the quality was but I figured it was worth a shot. When he opened it he was like "oh cool" lol. Typical 9 year old response. However, my 52 year old brother and his best friend have been on it non stop!! It has all the games at grew up on and then some. He said it was the best gift he never got. Lol. I'm quite impressed with this little machine and it's well worth the price! Literally , we love it. I would say if you have a tech savvy kid, meh, they might not care for it over the x box BUT any adult that grew up in the 80s and 90s will adore this.

Husband loves it!
Bought this as a gift for my husband who requested a couple old video games from his childhood. We haven’t had it long enough to know how durable it is, but so far he loves it! It came with everything it said: battery, charging cord, adapter, and a controller if you want to connect to the tv. You can just play it on the handheld device itself; it’s a small device. I’ll try to update later with an image, I’m pretty sure he took it with him to work today. It is small enough to fit comfortably inside a man’s pocket. I’d definitely recommend.**Update: to connect to the tv we had to ignore the color coding on the inputs and just connect the yellow in each video input until it worked.

Great Value, Color Screen...but
I think this is a great, cheap setup. The only issue I have with it is that the "classics" are limited and some of the best aren't found on it. I'd say that 90% of the games are ones I've never heard of or even seen. It feels cheap, like it could break at any moment...but for the money you pretty much expect that. For the most part, it gives great nostalgia and is great for wasting time when bored.

button not working
Just received it but the select button to select English on the first screen is not working . I may have to return this unless the seller can let me know if there is anything I can do to trouble shoot it .

Bought for my younger son and he loves it. Decent price, long lasting and love that it can expand to 2 players.

Got it for Dr. Mario
Perfect handheld game. When plugged to the tv the sound and images can be bad if the cable is not perfectly connected, and the cables are WAY short!
